    I have a bill of sale with warranty on it now pavement has cracked and lifted and would like it replaced or partial payment to have fixed I have been trying to contact them for 3 months now with no reply.

    Signed contract with F A Contractors on Feb. 23 / 2024.Did not realized credit card payment actually went to FAB Paving until I saw charge on my account on weekend. Due to an unexpected offer to buy my house on weekend , and that person did not want to have driveway paved , I cancelled the contract , by telephone , on Monday , Feb 26 / 2024. On the bottom of the contract it stated that deposit was non-refundable , however I had the owner cross it out and mark void , and he signed it. He said he would process by first of following week. Called him back on Saturday , March 09 / 2024. He stated he did know how to issue credit back on card , so he agreed to send me an E -transfer right away. I texted him the info on March 09 / 2024. On Monday , March 11 / 2024 I called saying had not received E-transfer. He forgot but look after today. Sent text and called again on Wed , March 13 / 2024. said he was busy but would send tonight. Called him again on Friday , March 15 /2024 and left a message saying if not received by 2.00 pm today would be contacting my lawyer ( which I have not yet ) and he would be responsible for any legal fees. Called later in morning and said he had sent it but would check when he finished with customer. Resent him E-transfer with email address and phone #. At 4.00pm , Friday , March 15 / 2024 I contacted ********** and started process to file complaint. At 4.30 Friday March 15 / 2024 i am filing complaint with Better Business Bureau.

    My husband and I contacted FAP asphalt to come give us a quote for paving the driveway. A couple of hours later *** contacted us and told us he can come to give us a quote that day for the driveway. He came, and quoted us $6000 for half the driveway. He asked us for $1000 deposit and we paid. He wrote a contract, and we signed. He told us he would come in 2 weeks to pave the driveway. I contacted him a week later and told him we would like the whole driveway paved and he asked us for an additional $1000 deposit and wrote a new contract and new quote for $11,000. I paid on the phone with him, come to find out the $1000 payment went through twice. In total we paid $3000 for a deposit. 3 weeks go by and he still hasn’t said when he was coming, finally after calling and texting many times he finally answered 4 weeks later and told me he would be coming in 3 days. Him and his crew show up and start scraping down and flattening the driveway, and then started brining more gravel in and flattening it. They started laying the asphalt and flattening it. They suddenly stopped and said it’s going to rain so they would come the following day to finish. The next day they came and started paving and multiple times we mentioned that some spots seemed strange and random spots didn’t seem compacted enough. They kept saying don’t worry it will level out while it cures and sets. After they finished *** said we need to increase the cost to $13,500. We disagreed and came to a total of $12,800. We paid and he said if anything happens just me a text or call but don’t worry everything will be okay and there is a 5 year warranty. Don’t drive on it for 5 days. We waited 10 days and each day the driveway started looking worse. Dips and seams got more pronounced, so we contacted *** and sent him photos. He said I’ll fix the problem. 2 weeks have passed and he won’t answer any calls or texts and the driveway is getting worse by the day and started crumbling in spots and water pools everywhere.

    On March 24, 2023 I signed a contract with FAP to pave my driveway. I gave the owner a $1500.00 deposited. Due to unforeseen circumstances ie. driveway repairs I could not get the driveway paved this year. I phoned the owner on July 17th and left a voicemail explaining the situation and asked for the return of my deposit, I did not get a response. I texted the owner twice since with no response. I then emailed him and I finally got a response on August 9th. He said he was out of town that week and when he got back the next week he would return my deposit. That week has come and gone and he has not returned my deposit. I emailed him again on August 21st and still have not got a response. It has been more than two months now and he hasn't returned my deposit.

    On May 18, 2022, I signed a contract with FAP Paving, phone, 902-***-****, email: fapns13@*****, address: PO BOX 2275,
    85 Tacoma Drive, Dartmouth, NS.

    The contract number was 0958. It was for the paving of my driveway, with 2.5 inches of asphalt and a 5 year paving warranty. I paid $16,171.30 for this.

    The paving turned out to be quite thin, often an inch or less. On account of this, several holes developed in the driveway and part of the side, about a meter and a half long, has crumbled away.

    I have tried without success to contact FAP paving to repair my driveway. Even at night, their phone gives a busy signal. My emails are not answered. Therefore I am turning to you to see if you can help me out.

    On February 26 2021, we paid a $400 deposit, and signed a contract with FAP Paving (******* ***** aka ******) to do the following work:
    Prepare and pave parking pad, level pad from shed to top side of driveway, put in gravel and new asphalt 3" compacted to 2 1/2. The work was to be completed in spring/summer 2021. We called the company owner several times and he never returned our calls.
    We emailed him on November 8th 2021 explained that no one had contacted us and we had no success in reaching him by phone that it was late into the season for this kind of work as the cooler temperatures are not conducive to paving. ******* agreed and said spring would be better to do the job and to call or email him end of April 2022 and it would get done.
    Spring of 2022 came and we called numerous times sometimes someone would answer and hang up. This went on and on. May 5th, 2023 we called again no answer so I emailed ******* he messaged back and asked for our phone number (our number is on the contract which we quoted the contract number every call and email). We gave him our cell numbers and home number but he never called.

    We emailed FAP paving again on June 1, 2023 explaining our driveway is still not done, no one is returning our calls and we want our deposit back. We sent the same email/letter via Registered mail.
    June 18th 2023 we had not received a response or our deposit back so we sent another email.

    On June 23 2023 we received a FAP flyer in the mail with a different phone number (902)456-1707 so we called and spoke to Darlene Johnston she said she would talk to *** and call us back. We never heard back so we called on June 30 2023 and Darlene said she was waiting for him to give her the go ahead to issue a refund. It is now July 24 2023 and we still have not heard from anyone or received our deposit back.

    I hired Fap to pave my driveway, in 2 stages. They came to me to discuss the amount, 9 months after they paved the first part, seven thousand cash, to finish the job, they wouldn't start until I paid them in full. They were also to fix the front portion of the driveway that was cracking. That was the agreement. They started running out of ashphalt after paving one side and the ashphalt was so thin it left a hole. I told the owner, before he left and he assured me the hand tamper would fix it. The tamper tried but couldnt fix the hole. I was left with a hole, deep ruts, weeds coming through and cracks at the front of my driveway. After months of phoning the company and being told they would come out to fix it, and not showing up or calling back, today they have blocked my phone calls.
