      On May 12, movers were scheduled to come to my house at 1 o’clock to move my belongings to a new house. I called and was informed that they would be late that it was very busy for them and they were overbooked. The movers finally showed up at 4:30. I was very concerned that it was the end of the day for the movers, and that it would be rushed and the dispatcher I spoke to on the phone was unfazed. When the movers arrived, it took them 30 minutes to take everything they had inside of the truck out of the truck to make room for my things. I had told the moving dispatcher that I would need help moving a fridge and some other very heavy items. The movers began to move my things, and it became more apparent that some of them were new to the job because they weren’t sure what to do. Upon moving an antique Buffet and Hutch one of the movers put duct tape around the hutch to keep the door closed, and when that was removed, it tore off the finish. They said they would take the item to be repaired and would return it, but I was on trusting of that. So I said I would speak to them myself. I spoke with their office, and they told me that I could take the item myself, but they were unable to give me the name of the place until the day before I was supposed to go, which was concerning they also offered for me to gather quotes from another repair person and offered a small amount of money instead, the money was not an adequate amount to repair the furniture also during the move, the movers dropped the refrigerator and it broke a piece of new flooring. For the past few months, I have been trying to get a hold of the company to seek resolution I have asked for a manager to call me and no one has. The company is completely unwilling to assist in this matter despite being advertised as fully insured. I called from a different telephone number last week and finally reach someone but they told me that I had not been in contact with them, but I kept record of every time

      I may post more when my mind settles. Our movers from Express Movers were over an hour late and charged close to $1500 to move a 2 bdr apt contents from Fairview to Cole Harbour.,Started at 10 am , we’re done close to 5 pm???????? that’s what we paid in rent where we moved from
