    Would not recommend this company. They will take your money and not provide the service they are supposed to and will not refund your money. They are complete thieves. Do not trust them.

    Their internet was garbage and completely unreliable and now they are trying to charge us 150 to get rid of the satellite. You provide trash, you should haul it away for free. What kind of monopoly is this? We had a tech come out to fix the issue to no resolve. Our security system relies on a internet connection and did not work reliably with xplore so intruders were a big concern. I used to think ***** was bad but this was like being on a phone line back in the 90’s. We used all our data tethering our phones to make up for xplores lack. Will never use them again. I was an idiot for taking a chance on them and now I gotta pay for it. Back to *****. Huge improvement.

    They were good about 10+ years before. When I called regarding slow speeds etc, got the same response, "we are adding towers, things will improve" or of course you can upgrade $$. After multiple tech issues, where they sent a tech out, only to tell me that he didn't know why, as the problem wasn't fixable. We would need to upgrade. Upgraded, to a 25mbps plan, at of course a significant price increase. Since then we constantly have speed issues, many times I've tested the speeds, and routinely get speeds in the range of 2-6 mbps, or even less. In fact, I think maybe once in the 100+ times I've tested it, except for the day it was installed, has the speed been 25mbps. Based on the crappy customer service experience I endured during the upgrade, I haven't bothered calling to complain, as its probably pointless. I wouldn't recommend them! Just tested my speed, rocking along at a blazing 5.04 mbps
    Oh and left a comment on ******** about my experiences once, they of course replied how they were "sorry to here it, they would be in touch"... never happened. not surprised.

    I have wires hanging down the front of my house connected to a junction box. Theycame during winter months and my roof is metal. They said they woud come back to fix it when snow was gone. Snow is days away from being back. 3 phone calls later and they ask the exact same questions as before and still nothing done!

    Extremely aggressive about collecting money. Last month I accidently paid my bill to the wrong company in my online banking .Within a day I was getting past due calls. This month I got a past due account letter after 10days when I underpaid a $100+ bill by $20. The satellite service itself is decent and with a recent upgrade it is a much better service. But the aggressive nature of their money collecting does not impress me but have no alternate service where I live.

    For the year that I had service it went out almost daily. They sent out a tech multiple times which it did not fix the issue. Then when my year was up they told me I no longer had warranty. When I discontinued services they told me I would get a refund and apologized. When it came to the billing date that I should no longer have they still took out a payment. Since I only had money in there to cover my other bill that one bounced. NOT the xplore bill though. So when I told them they advised I owed for 5 days in billing cycle. I advised if I was told I would of made sure the money was there like I had the previous whole year. I asked if they were covering the $48 nsf fee with bank and $25 with the company that is now out their money they advised no its not our policy. Now I still have to wait 4 more days till the end of the billing cycle and then still wait up to 60 days for my money to be refunded. I would rather go with out then to ever use their crappy service again. I got treated like crap on top of them taking my money.

    From the initial in person contact, changing my installation date through customer service, to the professional installation, it's been a solid experience. The price is competitive in a generally non-competitive market. I've done speedtests over the years with my previous internet provider, and it's the first thing I did with Xplornet. For me, internet speed was very near the maximum advertised, comparable to my previous provider. I don't expect the speed to drop over time in the area I live, so milage could vary on that depending on location. Quite satisfied with the switch.
