    Hi there,

    This is a daycare issue with Kingswood Academy in Moncton, NB.

    We have 2 sons (7 and 4). We are moving our 7 year old from Kingswood into another afterschool program that better suits our needs. We gave notice to Kingswood that our 7 year old would be leaving effective immediately as we just found out that a spot opened up in another daycare. They responded that since we are not abiding by their 4 weeks notice of withdrawal policy that both of our children are immediately discharged from the daycare. They assumed we wouldn’t pay the 4 weeks notice but we never said once that we wouldn’t pay it. We were happy to follow the policy. We asked for clarification and we received no email or anything back.

    We are very, very upset with the treatment and the disrespectful manner that they handled this situation.

    How can a daycare discharge the other sibling for doing nothing wrong?? We simply are switching our oldest son to a new daycare and the younger son get discharged for no reason?? We have never missed a payment, we have never had one issue with staff or anyone in the past 5 years of being there.

    We are looking to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.
