  I hired Cretemaster to level my front step and concrete block so that the roof over the front door would become level. The purpose was to adjust the concrete slab to straighten the roof over the slab but after his work to lift the slab, is still not level & my property incurred additional damages. I sent pictures to the owner showing that the roof slant is not resolved plus the right pillar is now extremely slanted, a new problem that he created. Only lifting the concrete closest to the house has busted the crown molding on the left pillar. He repeatedly told me that he is an engineer however my home & family were impacted with negative consequences including carbon monoxide – my carbon monoxide detectors went off an hour after he started. In high concentrations of carbon monoxide, it can take fewer than five minutes to get carbon monoxide poisoning. Under lower concentrations, it can take an hour to two hours to cause poisoning. My detectors have never gone off before and stayed on until after 7pm that night, I just had to unplug them and hope for the best. If I did not have detectors my child & I, our dogs & cats literally could have had extreme health impacts because of the lack of safe use of his equipment, we have cameras and have saved all videos of that day showing his equipment positioned to send exhaust into my garage.
  
  Also my newly coated driveway is now covered with a gray film and tire tracks & needs to be redone, I have rinsed it & even with heavy rains the residue remains. Cretemaster removed only the front step & his response is that he did what he said in the estimate however I trusted that the technical details would end in the correct result with no new damage.
  ******** was here last week to ensure that the pillar is still structurally sound with the new extreme tilt, assess the new gap in my siding and the breakage in the crown molding.
  
  ***** ***** impacted the health of my family & negatively affected my home & needs to be held accountable.

  The entire response is slanted towards the contractor and entirely inaccurate - every point; I can take pictures of my driveway today and will by the way - the pillar is now extremely slanted whereas it was not before. The work did buckle the siding, etc etc.

  I see zero accountability or acknowledgement that this person did not resolve the primary issue which was to level the steps so the the roof over the pillars was straight. Also his equipment absolutely did cause a massive carbon monoxide issue - as a note, we have cameras! It is recorded and documented.

  Also he not only told me no up front deposit was needed, he guaranteed he that could straighten the issue and if I was not happy with the result, I would not have to pay - again at all with my daughter as a witness. This guy is absurd and unreasonable and quite frankly not credible. Also everything I have said, I have proof whereas I relied on his notes and pictures to arrive at the right end result. I even had to call him to validate what he was saying in his estimate as it was unclear what it meant.

  He is the epitome of the type of business person to be cautious of. I will not pay the whole bill - the job was not complete, the roof is still slanted and as he asked, I sent pictures of the level to prove this. I am happy to pay a reasonable amount for what was done accounting for the damage he caused.
