Worst experience ever. Drilled 6 holes in my brand new 7,000 dollar custom shower, and didn't bother to admit they made a mistake. Had to point it out to them. They did try to fix it but nulled my warranty with Tile membrane. Asked for a portion of money back several times, but no response.
It's been 6 months and the shower door handle leaks, and my husband has had to silicone other leaks around the channel where the glass meets the tile.
I would recommend looking at another company for glass showers. *************************************************************** *******************

It is quite unfortunate you had a negative experience with our company.
I can't verify how much you paid for your shower, but I know our portion of it was only $3,330.
We have installed custom showers for many years for many happy customers.
My understanding is that in this situation the shower was incorrectly positioned upon the initial installation. Upon learning of the mistake, our staff quickly took action to rectify the situation.
In spite of clear disclaimers in our quote, we contacted your tiler and had him repair and replace the tiles as required. There was no cost to you as he billed us directly for his work.
We removed the shower glass and hardware prior to his work and then reinstalled the shower glass and hardware, at no cost to you.
Prior to us engaging with your tiler, we checked on his warranty and he verified with us in writing that the shower still has a full warranty.
You've called once since the installation, and we come out at no charge to make whatever adjustment you requested.
I understand that you may be looking for a large financial rebate, but historically, we have preferred to correct any problems rather than simply refund money. It normally makes for a happier customer in the long term. I'm sorry you don't think that.

This is not a business that I could recommend. They will book your appointment and then they won't show up and they won't call to cancel or re-schedule or explain their absence. Don't waste your time with this business.

I'm sorry to hear that we could not do business. Your review was posted the day of the appointment. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our sales associate was not able to make the appointment and left a voicemail and email explaining his situation. A new appointment was rescheduled the same week. Following an assessment of the door problems, you chose not to proceed with the recommended door replacement. We don't want to get involved with what we perceive might be an inadequate repair. We wish you well.

I would recommend Alder to anyone considering new windows. From my initial call, they were informative and helpful. Our salesperson Jeff ********** was knowledgeable and always available to answer questions and discuss options and saw the job through from measurement to installation. It was a pleasure to work with Russ to plan installation dates and the crew doing the work (Gaelyn and Jeff) did an outstanding job. In chatting with everyone, it became clear that they liked working at Alder and were well supported in their jobs. This is a smaller company that delivers above and beyond service.
