    I went to Eastern Chrysler to buy a car on July 15 , I liked a car we decided to go with it. **** *** *** ***** ***** *** without providing me any written terms and conditions about the deposit, the guy named Artem made me pay the deposit. Verbally saying that “deposit is refundable”. They promised me to get back to me with the list of work that needs to be done on the car within 2 days and also to get me desired monthly payments. I waited for 3 days and no one responded, I was the only one calling them to know how everything was going. And at first they were not able to get me the monthly payments I wanted for that car , also because of their poor customer service I decided not to go with the deal anymore. Once I decide to cancel the deal they started to give me the monthly payments  I wanted and started threatening me about not giving the deposit back. I tried talking to them but the management team named Artem, Kanwal ****** , Rafi harassed  me so bad. I was so stressed and frustrated after not getting my deposit back. I bought another car from another dealership and that is why they are still not returning my deposit. * ** ** ************* ******* *** ** *** ** **** ****** ***** ** ****** **** ** **** ***** ***

    I think the first 2 sentences of this customers message are very telling about what actually happened.

    I went to Eastern Chrysler to buy a car on July 15 , I liked a car we decided to go with it. CLEARLY THE CUSTOMER KNEW HE WAS BUYING THE CAR.

    Artem our sales advisor told the customer the partial payment is refundable on pick up of vehicle. That is what we tell all our customers.

    I personally dealt with Vikram about this, we showed him the MMDA agreement for partial payments.

    I am rejecting this response because the business is clearly denying to resolve the issue even though they were not able to keep all the commitments made for the  deal and I need as they stated that I was entitled to partial deposit return. They didn’t even return the partial deposit and kept it all. I am completely unsatisfied with the outcome

    Aug 29.2022. Went for my final oil consumption tamest in my 2017 Jeep Cherokee 2.4. They took over 2-3 hours for an appointment for one. But that’s besides the point. Did over 10 consumption test. Lost half my paper work forcing me to do more. On the 29th I was told my vehicle was missing .8 litres of oil. And they told me this is within spec. The vehicle only had 58.000 km. All FCA bulletins, TSB and letters say nothing about a specific amount. Only says it needs to be below the min line on dipstick( which it was each time) however the dealer and FCA refuse to replace my engine under warranty. And won’t do anything about it. My vehicle burns excessive oil between oil changes. It’s a safety issue. And inconvenience and I would like to have this resolved. On top of that they damaged my side skirt while lifting the vehicle. Service manager told me he’ll have someone in to fix for free. Then I called him back and he told me I would have to pay out of pocket. Even though him and the general manager both realized it was the techs fault.

    You work at a mechanic shop and have told us you had the car up on the hoist at your own shop several times. We told you that is probably where the damage occurred.

    As for the oil consumption, FCA has deemed that nothing out of spec is happening and has refused to install a new engine. We as a dealership have to follow FCA 

    guidelines. Ultimately it is their decision and we only facilitate their work. If they were to approve the engine repair it would be work for us that we get paid for so it would be in our best interest to get the engine replaced.

    I’ve talked to FCA multiple times. They told me the consumption seemed out of spec. According to TSB it didn’t seem within spec to me. I personally think good will should be done as I’ve been having issues non stop with this vehicle. But of course that is not my decision

    Again FCA denied your claim for oil consumption and a new engine. I know you have had the car at another Dodge dealership in the city and they said the same thing.

    I have empathy for your issue however as I explained in the first response we are bound my what FCA says as they are the ones that facilitate warranty claims.

    If I get a message from FCA that they have approved your claim our shop is happy to do it for you no problem.

    I own a 2022 Ram 1500 which main screen is defective.
    I have taken in several times, where they have rebooted the screen, but the screen remains defective.
    Symptoms:
    Screen unresponsive and turn black
    Screen unresponsive which obligates me to drive around with heated seat and heat steering wheel at full heat, which can only be turned off from the screen.
    Carplay google maps connects and disconnects intermittently.
    They have responded by saying that I have to wait for a software update to resolve this issue.
    So that means I have to drive around with the heated seats at full heat until their is a software update.
    Also when I went to pick up my truck today from the body shop the truck was filthy and they had knock out of place the passengers mirror as well as left several tape marks on the body of the truck.
    They had the truck for a whole extra day and did not do a final inspection to ensure that their were no issues, now I will have to go again and waste my gas and time.

    The screen update is coming from ********** ****** and our hands are tied, we have tried to fix it for you as per our conversations with the manufacturer. We sell the product however we do not produce it and follow their guidelines in repairs.

    In terms of cleanliness of the car, I apologize,  I'm happy to have it cleaned for you while you are here and we can fill your car with a tank of gas.

    I appreciate what you are saying, however all warranty claims and decisions are made by ********** *******

    For all our screen complaints we are in a holding pattern until they release the new update they are working on that should solve the issues.

    This is what ********** recommended and that is what we have to follow.

    If issued Can not be  fixed or replaced, then I would like for the vehicle payments to be taken care of until issues is resolved or I would like to return vehicle for full reimbursement.
