Our furnace stopped working 5 days ago. Canopy management told us to use temporary heaters. The heaters tripped the breakers and when we flipped them back the power was not restored. We tried contacting the company multiple times with no response. We filed an emergency maintenance request and had no response.

    Hi there,
I understand our tenant by the name of Samara submitted a complaint regarding the heat at her unit. The property in question had a furnace that broke down. The repair was a costly one (over $*****), once we were made aware of the issue, worked hard to get the furnace repair approved by the owner and have the issue repaired. We were notified of the issue on Oct 27th and had the issue resolved on Nov 1st (there was a wait time for the required parts).

In the meantime, we provided the tenant with space heaters, unfortunately, because the heaters were plugged on the same circuit, the breaker tripped. The tenant called our emergency line on the evening of Oct 31st to explain that there was an issue with the power. We assumed that the issue was related to the heaters, so we sent the HVAC tech that installed the heaters so that he could trouble shoot the issue. The tech went by the property on the same evening that the tenant notified us of the issue (Oct 31st), but the tenant turned the tech away saying she did not want to deal with an HVAC tech, but rather an electrician. She told the tech that they could come back the next day when they would be repairing the furnace.
