In mid August 2021 I dropped off some articles(2 mens suits and dress shirts) for dry cleaning at Perths, 3228 Portage Ave. Approximately 1 week later I returned to pick up my items and was informed that one of the shirts had not been returned to this location, it was at the office at their main location and the reason was not known I should mention the employee running this location, " ANNA " is an amazing employee with incredible inter personal and customer service skills. I was told someone from Perths would be in contact with me in the near future. I heard nothing for several weeks so I called the Portage Ave location, spoke with Anna and was told the shirt had been damaged during cleaning and I would be compensated. I told her the shirt was brand new, had only been worn once. She asked that I submit a receipt. I purchased a replacement shirt, (same shirt, same price as originally purchased). I emailed the receipt in as requested. $85.00 + tax = $95.20 I heard nothing for weeks. I called the store again and spoke with Anna who informed me that Perths would be compensating me $50 and I would receive $35 in dry cleaning vouchers. I was not satisfied with this response and asked for the store managers contact info. I called the store manager Lyn **** and left a message for her to call me. She never did. Several weeks passed again and I received a phone call from ANNA saying there was a cheque at the store for me to pick up. The week of October 27th I picked up an envelope containing a cheque from Perths in the amount of $50.00 No vouchers as I was told I would be receiving. Also enclosed was a letter or apology from Perths. My complaints are: - Not being fully compensated for a brand new shirt - No contact from Perths management and no reply from Lyn **** from Customer Service. - Having to constantly call them for information when the onus should have been on them to communicate with me.
