  We contracted with Jerry’s Concrete to replace our driveway with work commencing in Aug of 2024. We did so under the impression we were dealing with a long-standing reputation of 40 plus years of quality work and experience. The company changed ownership in 2023 and from the outcomes of our project, the quality is lacking. The communication and repairs to deficiencies were poor. Noting that the deficiencies for our project specific could have been mitigated by a more experienced company that recognized insufficient spacing between the newly poured slab and our house brickwork. Both our slab and house brickwork cracked right at our front entrance area, by Feb of 2025. Although ample reasonableness on our part was allotted,

  Jerry's Concrete is proud to stand behind there products and fully stand behind the quality of this project, there is one minor hairline crack (which is not warrantied by any company). Due to frost movement with our clay soil conditions the concrete pressed up against the brick on the house (home owners decision to not tie in) and caused a couple bricks to become loose. When Jerry's Concrete was notified of this Jerry's Concrete Owner met on site to review and and come up with a remediation plan. Jerrys Concrete then removed the bottom row of bricks to allow for substantial ground movement in the future and touched up the crack in the grout on the old bricks. The reason for a higher elevation in the corner under the bricks is to ensure no water is standing in front of the front step (a major hazard and slip concern in Manitoba winters), again it was the home owners decision to not fasten the new driveway to their foundation and allow it to free float with the ground movement in the winter. We at Jerry's Concrete are apologetic it happened but feel we took the proper steps to go above and beyond for this customer in rectifying the issue at hand. Had we gone lower and left more of a gap between the driveway and the brick to allow for frost movement there would be a puddle / ice accumulation as you step onto the new driveway, this is a larger concern as this can cause physical harm to the home owners and any visitors. The project looks great and we are proud to say it is one of ours!

  Upon reviewing the owner Jake's response to our review it is necessary to respond ** **** ******* ************ *** **** ** ********** ** **** *******. We did not approve to fasten the driveway to our garage slab as our garage slab is "heated". His own worker confirmed that this should not be fastened. As concrete expands and contracts with temperature changes experiencing different thermal movement in the slabs had the potential to cause much more serious damage if the slabs were tied especially in Winnipeg's climate where vertical frost heaving occurs. Jake is correct the driveway slab had to be raised in that area, but due to this requirement and being aware the slab was heated and not tied in making it free flowing to ground movement, their recommendation should have been to simply remove a row of bricks off the front of the house and all this could have been avoided but they were not knowledgeable / experienced enough to make this recommendation when establishing the work plan. We paid for experienced professional recommendations in completing this work and this is not what this company currently offers. ** *** *** ********** ***** **** ** ***** ********* ******* Their attempt to remediate the brick work damage and slab repair was to send yet again an inexperienced student worker who left us with having an unsightly repair at our entrance which we will have to fix ourselves. In hindsight we thought we were getting 40+ years of experience as advertised but that is not the current state of this company, *** ** ****** **** ****** ******* ***********

  About a month ago, we had the floor in our garage replaced. From start to finish, the entire process went smoothly and without any issues. The job was completed in just three days, exactly on time as promised.
  The level of professionalism and quality of work was truly world-class. The team was efficient, well-organized, and clearly knew what they were doing. Not only was the concrete work done to a very high standard, but the crew also took the time to thoroughly clean up after themselves, which we really appreciated.

  I had a garage pad replaced in the beginning of October by Jerrys Concrete
  The quote was marginally higher than others but I had work done by Jerrys before and was very pleased so went with them again as concrete is a forever product , The job was not a two day project and i thought it would go quicker but it was definitely worth the wait . Now it is the spring and everything went thru the winter perfectly. * ***** ****** ********* ****** *********

  I got a new sidewalk put in, in August by Jerry's Concrete. They did my whole front & back. I met Jake guys that sure new what they were doing, they were very Knowledgeable and very efficient. They were very polite and friendly. They cleaned everything up when they were done
  I am very very satisfied and happy with my new sidewalk. I had a few people comment on how nice it looked.
  Jake, Mike, Rick, Trever and all their staff are a very nice group of guys and girls.

  Jerry's Concrete repaired our front steps. Once the project was started, it was determined that more extensive repairs were needed than were initially anticipated. This did increase the cost of the project somewhat, but we were satisfied that this was handled fairly. We were very happy with the final product of the stairs and the refinished wrought iron railings. On the final walk through, a couple of issues were noted, including some damage to our landscaping. We were satisfied with the steps that Jake took to address these. ** ***** ********* ******* *********

  I needed a home walkway removed and replaced.
  Jerry's Concrete provided timely and highly professional service, beginning with a thorough discussion of the project, a fair estimate, and quality work, from the forms and preparation to the finished concrete, ensuring that the details of the plan were followed. All of the employees involved put the customer first.
  Lastly, a scheduled walk through with the owner to check the work was very satisfactory.

  Wy wife and I hired Jerry's Concrete to pour a pad for a small shed and to replace a broken landing at the front step, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The craftsmanship was excellent, and the team executed the work over multiple shifts as communicated in advance. I also appreciated their commitment to customer service, as the owner, Jake, makes a point of doing a final walkthrough with every customer—a thoughtful touch that reflects the company’s dedication to quality and client satisfaction.
  During my walkthrough, we discussed a minor issue with the pad size, and Jake kindly offered to make it right! 2 week's later a member of Jerry's crew returned and adjusted the pad to meet our needs, and the final result looks fantastic.   The whole team from Jerry's Concrete made the repair to my front steps and sidewalk a smooth and enjoyable experience. Without needing to replace the concrete they installed a beautiful! custom color rubber epoxy. From a thorough and detailed estimate, scheduling, advance surface prep, and application of material, to a final walkthrough inspection, Jerry's was on top of things.
