    On Aug 16, 2021 we purchased a NEW 2-piece chaise-sofa at Dufresne. We paid $3,174.99 (before taxes) for the sofa. Our complete transaction also included Dufresne's premium "white glove" delivery service. This was a major investment for our family. On Aug 20, 2021 the sofa was delivered. When the delivery workers were complete, they acknowledged there was extensive damage to each sofa piece and advised us to call Dufresne immediately as they have a small time frame they allow for damage claims. We called and submitted all the damage, which included a large scratch down the side of the sofa piece which broke through the material. The chaise piece had 4 corners worn right through the material. This was NOT the NEW sofa we paid for. After using their frustrating automated messaging system to submit a claim, we agreed to allow them to attempt to repair the damage. After several re-scheduled dates for a repair technician to attend to the repairs, they arrived April 2, 2022. Upon inspection the technician said they were confident the repair on the SOFA piece would be a quality repair. We agreed for the technician to proceed and this was repaired to our satisfaction. On the CHAISE piece, the technician advised an attempted repair of the damage would leave the material on the entire piece loose (not factory condition) and would not resemble the sofa we purchased. We agreed that we would not proceed with that repair as we expected our sofa to be new in appearance as that is what we paid for. The technician proceeded to do a superficial repair with paints and stretching the material. She agreed it was not the new sofa we paid for. We were contacted by customer service later the same day. They offered compensation of either $200 cash or $250 in-store credit, with no opportunity to negotiate even at our request. Two subsequent calls from Dufresne stated that their "offer" was firm. We have painted holes in a new sofa we paid over $3500 for.

    Bought appliance pkg 2017 with 4 year extended warranty. October 2020, Fridge died, lost some foods. Forgot I had warranty and paid for service tech to come look at. He filled with freon (twice) so I paid for the bill. Found warranty, contacted Dufresne. They used the same tech to look at fridge again. Found out motor was done and can't find. The tech informed me about it via text Not the customer care people which I purposely didn't contact until the following week. Then asked why I wasn't informed by them? No answer to that. Getting a new fridge. None in stock. Looked in flyer found one I liked paid extra money (Feb 2021) informed fridge will arrive in Brandon March 24th . Date came and went so I called them again. Were is the fridge? Oh, it won't be in Brandon now until May 28th. No customer care again. I told Dufresne my house is sold and it better be there end of May or I want a refund so I can get one in place for new home owners. May 16 called getting nervous about it all. Is it still coming? No, it won't be here until Mid July now...Why did they sell me a fridge that was in their flyer then? If your company can't supply me I want my refund. I'm getting upset and the girl hangs up on me for being angry at them. No refund to date.
