    I requested a website to be created and it has been almost a year and the site doesn't not function and business wont give money back. They say it was an extra functionality to have the website accept bookings but that is the core functionality. They also are wanting me to make final payment for a site that does not function.

    Hi BBB,

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Jozefina ******* complaint.

    We do not agree with Ms. ******* characterization of the situation. While there were some delays during the projectdue in part to technical challenges and delays in receiving her feedbackwe worked in good faith to bring the project to completion. The website was built according to the agreed scope, including the core functionality of accepting bookings.  

    Its important to clarify that we have not withheld any funds from Ms. ******* In fact, Ms. ****** filed a chargeback through her credit card months ago and received her funds back. We have not received full payment for the website or hosting services, and we have been seeking payment for the remaining balance.

    Despite the chargeback, we continued to work on her website in good faith to bring the project to completion. The website was nearly complete and fully functional beyond what was agreed upon in the original contract when Ms. ****** stopped responding to our communications. We made multiple attemptsvia email and phoneto reconnect with her and finalize the project, including a request in February of this year for her approval regarding the booking time-out feature.  It's our belief she stopped responding to these requests because she didn't want to finalize the project which would then require her to pay the funds she had previously clawed back.

    Additionally, Ms. ****** stopped paying for hosting services several months ago. We made several attempts to resolve this with her before the hosting service was ultimately suspended.
    We are disappointed that we were unable to bring this project to a successful conclusion, as was our intent. However, we stand by the work completed and the efforts made to resolve the matter.
