    On July 6, 2023 I took my vehicle in to Canadian Tire on Admirals Rd. for a check engine light service; re: Invoice ************** ********* ********** At this time the vehicle was running fine, it had no issues other than the check engine light being illuminated. The mechanics diagnosed it as an issue in the electrical wiring of the truck. They tried to figure out the cause, and ran out of time to fix it. They asked me to bring it in the following week to have the rest of the work done. They charged me $157.25 for the diagnosis, and booked me an appointment for July 12, 2023. On July 12, 2023 I brought my truck back for a follow up repair service. At this time, the truck was running fine, no issues other than the illuminated check engine light. They re-diagnosed it as a faulty 02 sensor in the truck, which they had replaced on January 7, 2023. They told me the part would be under warranty, and it would fix the issue. They replaced the part and were still seeing the same check engine light. They ran out of time to fix it, and instructed me to leave it with them overnight, so they could fix it in the morning. On July 13, 2023, I recieved a call saying they had worked out the issue and had everything back in working order. I was instructed to come and pick up my vehicle. I paid $298.77; *** ******* *************** and claimed my vehicle. The moment I turned it on, it began to rattle violently. I attempted to drive it through the parking lot and the accelerator was barely responsive. It began to make a loud popping sound upon applying pressure to the throttle. I returned to the store immediately, and explained my issue. A new set of problems that were not there before bringing my vehicle in for service. Problems I believe they created. They told me I would have to pay for new parts and labor at a further date. It had been 3-5 minutes since I picked up my vehicle, and they had no time to try and fix their mistake. My vehicle is now undriveable.
