    I received a call on my work cell from ************ which said it was from ******* ** which isn’t very far from us. Not thinking it would be some ******* or telemarketer, I answered it. To my surprise they asked for my wife. I said she wasn’t available (she wasn’t actually) instead of telling them they have the wrong number. I identified myself as her husband and asked if if they would like to leave a message. To which they declined and declined to identify themselves. I called the number back from my personal phone which immediately went to a menu to select my language and identified the company as SQM group. This might have been acceptable if it were my personal cell because our numbers are on the same account, similar, we live together, and we both pay the same bills using our own phones. However, my work cell is issued by the United States government because I am a federal employee, I work many miles away in a different area code, and there is no way to identify me. My complaint is that obtained that number and somehow attributed it to my spouse. It seems like penetration testing or some style of intelligence gathering.
