  I'm very happy with the whole process of working with Shack Shine from getting a quote all the way until the job was completed. The crew was very easy going and friendly, they worked their butts off, we have a 6 floor building with no roof anchors so they had to ****** pole. The windows on the 6th floor look just as good as the windows on the bottom floor. ***** and ***** came every day in the blistering heat smiles on their faces ready to work. I will be using Shack Shine again Thank you to the entire staff, but a huge shout out to ***** and ***** for sure ******

  Did a lousy job on a glass patio cover-it looks like it needs to be cleaned! Said they would clean the gutter but had to be paid in cash. $75.00 and they left over half the gutter untouched. The portion of the glass panels near the house are dirty and streaky and the ends of several panels are green with algae . Will never use them again!

  We had them clean our roof on our home in *******************. The first crew did a good job but the pump on the tank in their truck was broken and they could not spray the **** treatment when they finished the cleaning.A second crew came back several days later to spray the roof. They were obviously not trained properly as the bleach/cleaner solution got all over our maple trees and tomato plants. What a mess! Leaves are all shriveled up and falling off. Not sure the trees and plants will survive?The owner/manager apologized and said he would come out the next day but I never saw or heard from him again.

  DO NOT RECOMMEND. Please see photos of our windows AFTER they cleaned them and the damage they left.I had an extremely disappointing experience with Shack Shine and **do not recommend** this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional service. We hired them to clean our windows, but it took **FIVE separate visits in attempt to fix their terrible job.and even after all of that, the windows were **still dirty**. Instead of delivering quality work the first time, their workers kept coming back, wasting our time while failing to get the job done properly. Multiple emails and phone calls asking for a refund and no one took credibility or even bothered to respond to our emails. To make matters worse, we gave them a large tip before inspecting the work, assuming they had done a thorough job. **Big mistake.** Not only did they leave our windows in poor condition, but they also **damaged our skylight** and never informed us about itwe were the ones who had to discover it ourselves and notify the company! This level of carelessness and dishonesty is completely unacceptable. We reached out for a refund on our tip, and will continue to push for an appropriate resolution. If you're considering hiring them, **bewareyou will end up dealing with frustration, poor workmanship, and hidden damages.

  If I could leave ZERO stars or NEGATIVE stars, I would. Services were misquoted and what I was told was not what was done. I was told they would softwash my roof and they power washed the roof with HIGH pressure and also left 50% of the roof untouched. I had to bring in other trades to fix the bad work of Shine Shack. Doors, windows and stucco were damaged and also they broke numerous roof tiles. DO NOT USE SHINE SHACK. The work was done very poorly and not managed.

  Shack Shine was hired to work at out townhouse complex. The workers don't use fall protection unless they are caught and called out. They work on high rooves cleaning gutters from the edge and leaning over. If they were to fall it would be devastating. I called ******** and they shut the site down. I also caught one of the workers smoking weed during lunch. He would have gone back up onto the roof high if I didn't call his supervisor. Shack Shine lacks basic safety and should not be hired.

  As a loyal Shack Shine customer for Xmas lights for 5 years in S.Surrey, I can tell you that what transpired this pre holiday season was nothing short of absolutely unacceptable, totally disappointing & beyond stressful. To what should have been, the easiest part of Xmas. I booked beginning of Oct for light install on Nov 26th only to never receive the typical **nfirmation email that Ive received all years prior. To having to **ntinually call the franchise & head office to get a response & **nfirm that this appointment would actually happen. All the while like others mention, receiving a ton of marketing ************** asking me to book my apt soon ?????. Not only was I told in the 7 phone calls over 2 months that my apt was IN FACT booked. But that they were having issues with head office trying to poach clients with these marketing emails. Ya think?? And to just ignore. So I **ntinue to ask why I cannot, at minimum, get a **nfirm email to ensure my apt is in fact secured? To which I was told, they would check right away, they would get back to me, I would most definitely hear back from someone, etc etc. To which Im sure you can imagine, I never did. Even 2 days before apt, I called in a panic stating that I have always received a email & a text informing me to leave my light buckets out & make sure the boys can access the property fully for the install. Again, nothing, no resolve, no follow up, ***** All in all, the amount of times I chased this **mpany. The amount of people I spoke to in a 2 month period to **me to ANY type of resolution, was nothing short of ridiculous. NO customer should ever have to chase a **mpany for services, especially when they are paying top $. So I would say based off of my experience & all the others, save your time &peace, & go with one of the other COs in the area that are more than happy to provide excellent service to eliminate stress on holiday seasons. SS get your act together!! U built your ** off local business??

  Do not book. I scheduled an appt two weeks in advance. They did not show on the day of service. I called to inquire and they told me the franchisee had canceled my appt. The appt was canceled without any notification. Do not book. Worst customer service.
