    Date of Transaction: July 10, 2025 Amount Involved: ******** Type of Product/Service: Facial treatment and promotional testimonial agreement Summary of the Complaint:I am filing this complaint to report a fraudulent and coercive transaction that resulted in a loan being opened in my name through ****** without my full understanding or consent. They used deceptive sales practices, high-pressure tactics, and refused to refund misrepresented products I didn't ask for or want.I was approached by ******* ***** with an offer to receive facial treatments at a discounted rate in exchange for providing promotional testimonial content (photos, videos, and/or reviews). I was explicitly told:I would not begin paying until I saw results from the treatment;I could cancel at any time with no financial obligation;The loan was a formality and could be canceled if I chose not to proceed.Believing these claims, I went through their sign-up process. Only afterward did I realize that a loan had been fully processed through Affirm, and I was now financially liable even though no treatment had been completed and no satisfactory agreement had been signed.When I attempted to cancel and expressed concern, the representative used manipulative tactics and threats, telling me I would be charged additional fees or penalized further if I didnt comply. I now realize this was a scam and not a legitimate business practice. I did not knowingly or willingly consent to the financial terms I am now being held to.I would like to pay the remaining $1,800 for the products I have opened, but Im requesting full cancellation of the ****** loan and any charges tied to this transaction. I want written confirmation from the business that they will not bill me further, add charges, or pursue collections for the machine they falsely put in my hands and refused to take back. I also request an investigation into the deceptive business practices of this company to protect other consumers.

    ****** ***** ********************************************************************** ************ ************************* February 17, 2025 To:Better Business Bureau (BBB)Subject: Formal Complaint Against Oasis Aesthetics Spa Misleading Sales ***************** of Refund Dear *********** am filing a formal complaint against Oasis Aesthetics Spa, *********, **, for deceptive sales practices, high-pressure tactics, and refusal to refund misrepresented products.Transaction Details:Date of Purchase: April 5, 2024 Items Purchased:Two face creams $672 Hand cream $224 Facial machine $2,000 (financed through Affirm, $119.58/month)Total Paid: $2,896 Issue Summary:On April 5, 2024, I was enticed into the store with a "free sample" and misled about product discounts. Staff pressured me into buying face creams and a facial machine after quoting a false price of over $5,000, later reduced to $2,000. They promised 9 free facials and additional products.Refund **************** of Verbal Agreement:The next day, I requested a refund, but the manager refused, citing a "no refunds" policy not disclosed at the time of purchase. This was contrary to prior assurances.False ************************* Promises:The 9 free facials offer was limited to 3 sessions.The facial machine price was falsely *************** products were included in the price.Attempts to Resolve:My calls were ignored. ****** informed me the store must issue the refund before canceling financing. I offered to return the products but was denied a refund.Requested Resolution:1. Full refund of $2,896 2.     Date of sale: 11/23/24 *** being financed $2.240 + 25% in Nature of dispute: feel that I was taken unfair advantage of and wish to return the unopened, unused products I went to this spa for a facial and didnt anticipate that Id be given a strong sales pitch to purchase products and became increasingly conflicted and the mgr knew I had been grieving as she learned that when we spoke before the facial. She informed me twice that sales were final. I had a few times told her that I couldnt afford it. She was very pushy and now I have ************************************ my apt. I went for a facial to boost my mood as it had been advertised on fb and the price was only $50. I let myself be browbeaten and did not stick up for myself and walked out of the spa feeling worse than when I had gone in. I have 4 free facials as part of the package and dont want to go back to have them. I dont know if this is buyers remorse or if I have the right to complain but the approach of the spa mgr was very aggressive though covered in friendliness. Im not happy about the treatment at all. I would like to have the contract canceled and return all the unopened and unused products which is all of them. My face is drier after the facial as well so Im really not pleased The business has not returned my calls to resolve this. I have left my name and number twice today I hope I receive a satisfactory resolution to this complaint
