October 23rd a 60 cubic foot helium tank was rented from the company for $133. We were told it fills approx 100 small balloons. I rented the same tank last year and knew how many balloons I would be able to inflate. We were told to inflate approx 8 hours prior to party. Husband began to inflate balloons that am and heard a hissing noise coming from the nozzle and could feel helium leaking from nozzle. Any time a balloon was being inflated from the nipple the nozzle would leak. Have a video made with proof. We called the party rental place who offered a refund, discount for next year and to give us inflated balloons if we picked them up. We refused the balloons as we did not have time to pick them up (party started at 11 am). He promised a refund. Manager then shows up unannounced at our home with a new tank which we refused. We had a party decorator hired who was setting up a balloon arch in front of the door (invoices to prove it). He accused us of using his tank to fill them. Balloon arches are filled with air not helium and that was a paid service by someone else. We showed him the balloons we inflated (16 in total) and he wanted to take pictures but changed his mind. He took the faulty tank with him and told us we would be getting a full refund and discount for next year again. 5 business days have passed with no refund. We called on October 29th and he is now refusing our refund. He accused us again of inflating the arch with his tank. We want our money back and for the public to know this company is below par. I also want to mention the balloons we did inflate fell to the ground after 3 hours.
