Date of Transactions:May 7, 2025: Vehicle towed to Go Langley Mitsubishi after stalling May 8, 2025: Spark plug and ignition coil service completed May 1022, 2025: Ongoing issues and multiple dealer visits June 27, 2025: Independent diagnostic performed at Autofierce Automotive Costs Incurred:$1,059 for spark plug and ignition coil replacement $500+ towing expenses $300 insurance paid on disabled vehicle $780 - independent diagnostic.$2,400 estimated value of lost vehicle use (30 days)What the Business Committed to Provide:Go Langley Mitsubishi committed to diagnosing and repairing a misfire/stall issue on my 2016 Outlander. I expected accurate diagnostics, responsible service, and transparency about repair viability.Nature of the Dispute:After an initial coil/plug repair, the Check Engine Light reappeared the next day. Despite this, the dealer claimed fuel in the catalytic converter (CAT) and released the vehicle without proper resolution, parts were back ordered. On May 22, the engine suffered further damage. The dealership later quoted $17,000 for a full engine and CAT replacement, blaming a bent piston from backpressure without performing proper compression, leak-down, or borescope tests. I paid for an independent inspection, which found no bent piston or catastrophic failureonly internal oil contamination and cylinder pressure loss, consistent with progressive air/fuel mismanagement.Has the Business Tried to Resolve It?No meaningful resolution was offered. Mitsubishi Canada declined goodwill support and deferred entirely to the dealership. The dealer offered only a $2,000 trade-in on a vehicle previously valued at over $9,000. The vehicle is only 2K km past the 16K km engine warranty. Requested Resolution:I am seeking reimbursement of repair costs already paid, coverage of engine repairs, or a fair market buyback. The original diagnosis was incomplete, failed to identify the true issue, and caused significant hardship.

I purchased a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV from the dealership on Friday, January 17, 2025. I bought the vehicle because the CarFax report showed the Battery as having been ascertained to be in good shape. I traded in a 2010 ***** 450h hybrid for this vehicle because I specifically wanted a PHEV so that I could do most of my city driving under electric power. However, upon charging the battery to full at home, I am getting 8-9 km at most before the gas kicks in.I believe the ****** report to have been fraudulent.

I purchased a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV from Go Langley Mitsubishi on October 26, 2024. Their advertisement promised, All our pre-owned vehicles are Certified with 160-point safety inspections and ****** Reports. However, I am concerned that my vehicle did not meet these standards *Initial Concerns (October 28 - October 31)*Heating Issue: On October 28, while driving in cold and rainy conditions, I set the heating to the maximum (31.5C), but the car continued blowing cool air, raising doubts about the "160-point inspection"*Visit to Go Langley Mitsubishi on October 29: I returned to address several issues:The heat was still blowing cool air. The sales representative and two others confirmed there was an issue with the heating.-The left speaker didnt work for calls, impacting audio functionality -A rock chip was visible in the center of the windshield -Minor scratches were present on various parts of the vehicle *********** manager assured me these issues would be fixed Repair Attempts First Attempt (October 30): I was told the car was ready, but the rock chip remained. The team promised to fix it Second Attempt (October 31): The chip was still present. After discussing with the service manager, they apologized and committed to replacing the windshield Windshield Replacement (November 1): The windshield was replaced, and I picked up the car on November 2 *Additional Concerns (November 7 - November 9)*Fuel Consumption and Battery Issues: On November 7, I noticed high fuel consumption and limited battery range. With a full charge and tank, but the hybrid battery didnt hold charge, and fuel consumption was higher than Mitsubishis standards, suggesting other potential issues *Ongoing Heating Problem (November 9): The heating issue persisted, often blowing cool air instead of warm. When it did work, it was inconsistent and insufficient These ongoing issues indicate the vehicle may not have met the advertised inspection and certification standards
