Fall 2021 - Armour Guard fences and gates were installed at my house by Father and Son Masonry for $6,804.00. I don't remember the exact date of the install. The original quote from Father and Son was for $6856.50, but during the install the crew decided that one of my doors should be 42", not 48", so I saved *****. Father and Son have the exclusive rights in ** to Armour Guard fencing. As far as I can tell, Father and Son and Armour Guard are the same company. I wasn't sure which company to reference in this complaint, I chose Father and Son.April 24/25 - I emailed company to say that a main gate post is leaning and is no longer plumb, and I am worried about a failure of the post and/or gate which could damage people or property.April 24/25 - ****** from Father and Son telephoned me. He said that from the photo I had emailed, it looked like the wrong size post was used. He asked me to prove that Father and Son did the install.April 24 - I sent ****** my email records showing the quote from Father and Son, and my receipt from Father and Son for payment.April 25 - ****** emailed me, saying he will personally visit my property to assess the situation, and he will provide me with a detailed report and justification about a long term fix.May 7 - I emailed ****** to ask if he's had a chance to look at my gate.Around May 8 or 9 - I hadn't heard from ******, which was strange because he had always replied very promptly, so I telephoned Father and Son and asked for ******. He wasn't available. The person I spoke with said that ****** had a couple days off the previous week. I figured he'd get back to me soon, now that he's back to work.May 26 - still haven't heard anything. I emailed ****** again to ask if he's had a chance to visit my property and determine a plan.May 27 - still no response from ****** since April 25. I decided that he must be ignoring me, so I'm contacting BBB.
