    We paid a $10,000 deposit to owner ***** ***** for an AC install at our house. ***** told us the deposit was required in order for him to procure the parts for the job. ***** provided a receipt and gave a date that he would come back and do the install. From that point forward, we had about 15 dates promised to us that he was going and do the Install never once coming.The excuses that ***** used were sometimes wild and far-fetched and very inconsistent.After nine months of waiting for the work to be performed, we mutually agreed that it was time for him to return our money and part ways For the last several months, we have arranged days times and heard promise after promise after promise after promise that he was going to return our $10,000that he had been holding onto. We have now reached a point where we recognize ***** never had any intention of performing the work or giving us our money back. We are now being forced to pursue legal action.This business is a fraud. This business owner is a fraud we have since learned that there are several other people in the same situation as us that he collected money from to perform work and never did the work or return the ******** not do business with this owner or this company. I have no doubt he will close shop and open under a new business name.

    The proprietor/owner/contractor of Port Kells Mechanical (*********************) took money for work he was supposed to be doing same day (Nov 6, 2023) then didnt show up for many months after even though he kept booking in. Each time he had an outrageous and unbelievable excuse. Some of the work was completed, although not to code and ***** has now stopped responding at all, but still has $1700 of our money which we can easily show. One part of a prior job was completed but turns out NOT to code. Many things were promised and not delivered and the last job was not completed at all.
