    I have moved with Salmons several times in the past 30 years, always a good experience until now. My horrendous move-out was in early Aug 2021, with goods in storage until late nov 2021 due to a flood in my condo. There were a lot of broken, missing, and damaged items as summarized with descriptions & photos (attached here), sent to Mark H*****, President of Salmons, in early Jan 2022. In early Feb 2022 (after an exchange of over 16 emails), I reached an agreed settlement with him for a payment of $2000 for replacement costs + access to their repair expert to address numerous scratches and other furniture damage. I have followed up several times since re: the cheque & scheduling - I get a lot of promises but no resolution. I've yet to receive a cheque; H****** says his repair guy contacted me but I received no call, no voicemail. There was a time when Salmon's was trustworthy; this has left a very bad taste in my mouth. H******'s 2/15/22 email states: "we would also like to settle this matter, you are covered to $1460.00. This is what would be paid out, along with sending someone out to your home to fix your bed. Upon acceptance, we can schedule someone this week to come and get this fixed." The 2K settlement was subsequently negotiated. H****** initially tried to offer only $500 for replacement costs when I was covered by Salmon's insurance for $1460 - that felt like a rip off, and I provided further replacement cost details to justify a higher payout. H******'s 3/2/22 email states: "*** ********** ********** ** ******* *** * ****** *** ******** ** ********** ** **** *** *** ******* *** *********** ***** *** ********** ********** ** ****** * ****** *** **** **** ****." On 4/5/22 I left a voicemail for H******, requesting a cheque via courier and a call from the repair expert, advising that I would be pursuing this through the BBB and if necessary, Small Claims. Still no response. I'd like BBB to make a call to H****** and help resolve this promptly.
