I purchased servo systems from DMM. They were not fully functional. After pointing the short comings to them and testing their changes in the firmware, the issues were repaired in the last few of the servo systems purchased. DMM then (***************************) said if I sent the first two drives in that DMM would at no charge upgrade the firmware and ship back with in 2 days. Not only have they not sent my drives back, but I can't get them to answer my phone messages, emails, or letter. Without the drive amplifier the entire servo system is useless. The two servos cost a total of $1,191.61. Not only that but now we have to go back and spend months reprogramming for a different servo brand while the customers machines are with out these servos (down time). This is also damaging to our reputation as a system integrator. They have a nice product (with the fixes I helped them with, to overcome the firmware faults) but very bad communications. The last I have heard from them DMM said on June 12th, ******************************************************** I have since left many messages with no reply. Their web site states they will get back to the customer within ********************************************************************************** Thanks *****

In August of 2023 I contacted *** to purchase motors and motor drivers to retrofit a machine. I told them what hardware I was using to control the motors and they assured me that many of their customers use exactly the same equipment and their products work well. They provided a wiring diagram for my control equipment. I purchased the hardware and it was shipped and arrived late August. The order cost was $2,432.97 plus approximately $50 in ***** international duty. When I received the equipment and began installing it, I found that there is a technical flaw that prevents it working with my equipment. I can provide technical details about the flaw if desired.I found several online forums where numerous people have complained about the same technical limitation.I raised the issue with DMM. This started a long conversation back and forth where they told me that they were purchasing the same equipment that I own in order to test it and find a resolution. I put them in touch with the engineer at **** ********** who designed my control board and who is familiar with the problem. That was approximately the middle of November and was the last thing I heard from DMM. They now refuse to answer my emails. Telephone calls to their corporate number go to a voice mail.I no longer have confidence that they intend to fix the problem and believe that they were aware of it when they sold me the equipment in the first place.
