    I contacted Northwind Roofing Ltd. in October, 2023 to do an inspection and quote for necessary repairs to a poor quality roofing job done by another Prince ****** roofing contractor who advertises that he is a BBB Accredited roofer, WHICH HE IS NOT. He did a roofing job in his company name even though he has never been on my roof, he has never been on the active work site and he has never view the completed roofing job in question. This other roofer, who I would like to name, who has treated me and the BBB badly, gave me a 10-year workmanship guarantee which he refused to honor and my repeated attempts to have him repair his poor roofing job failed from June 2022 to October 02, 2023, which was my last email to him.I contacted ***************************** of Northwind Roofing Ltd. on October 05, 2023 and he did an inspection of the roofing job done by the other roofing contractor on that date, stating that a first year roofing apprentice could have done a better job. He found the area around the furnace chimney shingled wrong and water was leaking under the shingles to the roof sheathing. He also noted a major error in shingling the ridge of the roof, where shingles were sagging badly to the point where water would be leaking into the attic of the house. Several other issues were noted and he gave me an estimate of $1230.34 to correct the worst of the defective roofing. To completely deal with the poor roofing job would require a total reroofing job with a quoted price of $7,500.00.He and his crew arrived at my house on October 23, 2023 and completed the necessary repairs in a professional manner and as quoted.I highly recommend Northwind Roofing Ltd., owned by *****************************, for all your roofing needs. Thank you ******* for an excellent job and very professional service.
