Jacob promised a lot, and spoke of his professionalism and expertise. It’s hard to put into words how poor a job he did, but here’s my effort: He took measurements but decided the day he cut it to tell me I had to have a seam in the middle of the island. This was a specific request; to avoid any seams in the island. Upon delivery of the pieces I was disappointed to see the cuts were just horrid. To say there were jagged edges is an understatement. After they tried seaming together the two island pieces I was left with a horrible line down the middle. The filler they used (tried 3 separate times to fill this awful seam) was so visible. They used razor blades to fill/level and basically scratch the heck out of the counter top for a few inches to either side of this large gap. The piece they put in the bathroom wasn’t cut square, and the holes for the basin and faucet aren’t aligned. When I brought this to Jacob’s attention he got defensive and blamed everything from the stone to me somehow, and argued his way in circles to avaoid accepting responsibility. Terrible experience, huge waste of money, do not use this company or have Jacob do any work for you. Awful way to treat customers.
