In March 2024, we tried to contact Moduline regarding a leaking kitchen tap still within warranty. We left several phone messages without any response. When the leak got so severe that water ran under the sink cabinet, we bought a new tap and hired a plumber to fix the problem. After several ***** ****** finally returned our call and stated they would pay the cost of the repair and tap. We sent him the invoice, which was in April 2024 and we have had no repayment though we have called him and left messages many times and even dropped by at his office with no avail. We are very disappointed.

We bought a modular home from the retailer **** *** ***** Kelowna and have deficiencies that have never been repaired. They refused to do anything about the deficiencies. They sent us to *** ***** an insurance company. *** ***** took down all of our information and we conversed over 60 emails and many phone calls with them and still no repairs were done. We then went directly to the manufacturer Moduline Industries asking them to make the necessary repairs and they said they would, but only approximately 10% have been done. We have been waiting since 2021 for these repairs to be completed. How long does a home owner wait when the house has been paid for. **** *** ***** and Moduline Industries did not even build the home to pass the occupancy inspection. We had to hire other contractors and engineers to come in and fix their mistakes. We have done most of all the repairs ourselves at our expense, exhausted waiting for these professional companies to do their job. We still need the ceiling and a wall repaired. They are cracking and have been that way since the day we moved in. Pictures attached.

After delivery of the Modular, there were some imperfections or issues with the interior and exterior that we needed Moduline to fix under warranty. One of the issues we noted is that the master bathtub was cracked near the water spout. Moduline eventually sent a repair team to fix some issues but did not fix the tub. They insisted that ***, the shower manufacturer, would need to replace it. *** sent 2 inspectors, who said the damage was done during installation. Then Moduline wanted to send another inspector to look at the tub as they were still not satisfied it was installation damage on their part. The inspector also finished work that was still left to do, but he did not fix the tub and stated it was installation damage. We have asked Moduline to just give us a shower instead ( which is cheaper) instead of replacing the whole tub install. But, we have never heard anything back since the last repair work, and the inspector was here in August. We have called and sent numerous e-mails, but they have ghosted us and are not responding at all. We still have a damaged tub that needs to be resolved.

    Hello *****

This is Walter ******** GM from Moduline in Penticton. I personally spoke with the **** Representative about your tub. ****'s Warranty Department is in review of your tub issue. They said that I or Garet (my Service Manager) will be hearing in a short while on how **** will proceed on your tub issue. Thank you for your patience.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: We have already been told this on multiple occasions only to have a *** representative sent out twice and a Moduline Repair service technician sent out to inspect as well. All 3 have stated clearly that the tub is broken due to installation error, but no-one will take responsibility and just solve the issue for us. We need a resolution in the form of a decision and communication to us immediately of the timeline and how they will be resolving the issue. As we have been ignored via e-mail and phone repeatedly, we cannot trust yet another delay and 'someone is working on it' as this has been all we have heard with no resolution for over 6 months. We would ask that Moduline decide how they are going to solve the issue, let us know ( communicate with us) and then give us a timeline that they intend to honour with either a replacement tub unit or as we suggested, a shower only install unit instead delivered to us and we will remove and install on our own or they can install for us - their choice. We only want the matter resolved and with a timeline that is in writing.

    Sincerely,

    ***** ****
