On June ******* I entered the Edgewater Pub for a business meeting. I have been going to the Edgewater Pub for 5yrs without incident.I met with my contact and had ordered a burger to go. The service was horrible our drinks took ********** was about 30 min. into the meeting service was almost non- existent. My meeting ended an they left I moved to the bar to have a conversation with the bartender **** and she said that ***** the owner has refused to provide service, and I asked why?She stated because my now ex-boyfriend who I never even saw was in the bar. ***** felt that even though I was there first he wanted me to leave. I asked **** to go get *****. I work for the school district and my personal life should not be spread around the bar its slander.***** (the owner) approached me at the bar where I was still waiting for my burger to go. **** served me a drink and I tried to have a conversation with ***** but he refused to hear me. I stated this is slander and your liable.***** approached me and said I had to leave and I asked why he stated "because your making the BOYS feel uncomfortable" I was in shock because when I looked over my ex boyfriend and his friends were laughing. This was upsetting.I'm a 54 yr old women who doesn't need her private affairs spread all over town especially in the only local pub in town where all our friends hangout. I was not there to start trouble I was leaving and I conveyed that message to *****. ***** threated to have me physically removed. I called the **** because I felt this was a threat to my life. He made several other disgusting comments. Stating I was a ****, *****, and attacked my character in front of a restaurant full of patrons. Then went on to state I was banned forever from the restaurant. I felt my life was in danger an called the **** there is a report. This is unacceptable for a business owner to conduct himself in this manner.
