The initial visit began on June 30th. I drove from ok falls to oliver to get an oil leak repaired. ( oil pan and oil sending unit). My quote was $500. My vehicle ***** ***** ***)started fine and was driving fine at the time. The first thing they did was a compression test which they stated was good ( i have the invoice ) I get a phone call at the end of the day , and the lady at the front desk says do u want the bad news or good news. She says we cant get your vehicle started. You need a distributor and believe it or not a used one is more expensive than a new one. I said how is this possible. Its been fine. The guy says at least it happened here and not while driving here. its gonna cost u an xtra $1000. they charged me $506 for a distributor. On amazon theyre roughly $100. so i left vehicle there for the weekend as the part needed to come from vancouver. On tuesday when it was ready, they tell me its now misfiring . He says it COULD be cylinder 4 but i need to take valve cover off and to do that it will cost $300. i just injured my elbow and was awaiting ei to kick in so i was going to bring it back once it did. i asked if it was driveable. He said yes. 2 days later (sunday) my vehicle starts to shake like an earthquake and make horrible sounds. It hesitates to turn over and sputters when idling. I call them back monday morning..they tell me to bring it in as the distributor may be defective. I was there at 830am. At 430 i call them and ask any word? the guy says well the valve has recessed and burnt and now it will cost you 3500 to fix. Sooo, how did this go from bringing it in for an oil leak fix ($500) to needing a distributor $1500 , which dont forget it was running fine ! to now needing to fix it for another 3500!!!!! I have no vehicle now. Im scared to drive it anywhere as i dont wanna be left stranded. I want answers! I want these guys to fix what they created free of charge and own up to what they did ! These guys deserve ZERO stars !
