It was the biggest mistake we made to hire this person for our renovation project. ** ** **** ********* ***** *** ** ****** **** *****. He doesn't have knowledge on how things are done, from drywall installation, painting, building new stairs, setting tiles, installation of hardy siding on the outside of the house, the list goes on. It was a ******** we are still recovering from a year later. He not only wasted material due to repair of his work, he also didn't finnish his work according to our contract. I don't know how Ian can justify extraction of more money from us when renovation is still not done as it was supposed to according to the contract and repairs are ongoing. The full budget was paid plus $16,350 above and all the major materials like windows, doors, handles, floor laminate planks, tiles, vanities, toilets, showerheads, mirrors, kitchen cabinets, quarts countertop, hood fan were paid separately by us. Even labour for instalation of the kitchen and tiles in the basement was paid to a third party by us. Ian failed to provide us with city permit for our addition also. He was assuring us that everything is going well with the permit process. We found out much later that city closed the permit application long time before due to inactivity on the applicant's side. We also found out he didn't pay plumbers and house addition designer. Very first payment we made to Nicons Enterprise was for the designer. The experience is heartbreaking. This review was done out of frustration however I believe that we can learn from this experience and solve it better way. Because I don't want harm only lesson to be learned I'm considering to cancel this review.
