I paid the business $440.00 for the transaction. The name of the business is strength in balance in kamloops and her job was to balance my nervous system. I was able to do work, volunteer, go to school and do anything I wanted before. Now after her work I could not stop talking for hours, she messed up my brain that I cannot function normally anymore, I am pretty much a vegetable.

Dear Representative of the Better Business Bureau,

Regarding compliant ID ********, the customers statement, I paid the business $440 for the transaction. The name of the business is Strength in Balance Kamloops, and her job was to balance my nervous system. I was able to work, volunteer, go to school and do anything I wanted before. Now, after her work, I could not stop talking for hours; she messed up my brain, and I cannot function normally anymore. I am pretty much a vegetable.

The disputed amount $440.00, and the desired settlement refund.
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the situation outlined above. I would like to provide an account of the events as they unfolded and offer some context to help clarify my position in this matter.
I have been a practicing professional since 2002, specializing in trauma treatment, PTSD, and chronic pain management, with a focus on somatic therapies. I completed a comprehensive 3-year Somatic Experiencing training in *******, **, and I have completed all requirements for Structural Integration completed in 2002. I practice both as a fascial therapist and as a qualified Trauma Specialist. My practice has been successful in helping many individuals recover from ***********************-related symptoms. I consistently maintain a long waitlist of clients who seek my expertise.
Regarding my work with the Client listed above, we briefly worked together in 2020. Throughout our sessions, I focused primarily on establishing a foundation of safety, stability, and self-regulation. This is a standard part of my approach, as it allows individuals to gain the emotional tools necessary before we explore deeper trauma histories. Unfortunately, this person displayed considerable resistance to these interventions and was unwilling to engage in the treatment process in a productive way.
After carefully assessing the situation, I concluded that her need was beyond my scope of practice. I communicated this to them directly, as I felt my approach was no longer suitable for their needs.
Since that time, I have received numerous communications from this individual that have escalated in tone and threatening language. As a result, I decided to block all contact with them to ensure my safety and well-being. Given the nature of the communications, I felt it was necessary to file a formal complaint with the police regarding this ongoing situation.
In regards to the request for a refund, there is implied value in my services as they continued to seek personal sessions with me in a total of 5 one-hour sessions. In my experience, if someone is unhappy with their personal services ranging from a haircut to a massage, most do not continue beyond one or two sessions with a provider. I will also note that all sessions were paid in cash after completion of each session so that someone has no requirement to continue sessions should they choose to discontinue for any reason.
Please understand that my primary goal has always been to provide care and support to those who seek it. In this case, I believe I did everything I could within the scope of my practice to help this individual, but the situation has now escalated to a point where I must take steps to protect myself and my professional integrity.
I am happy to provide any further details or documentation related to this case and at her signing off on disclosure of personal session information, if required.  I would appreciate any guidance or recommendations you may have.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance in this matter.
    Sincerely,
