    December 31st 2020 - Entered Brandsourse Countrywide Furniture store, picked out a **** *** sofa with chaise on the side. Paid a $1500 depositof the full price $3807.00 picked out fabric and throw pillows to be ordered in. After returning home we measured the space in our living room and realised that the sofa would not fit in the living room. Janurary 1st 2021 Called Brandsource CountryWide furniture store, explained that the couch would not fit and we were instructed to come in and pick out another sofa as he had not sent the order in yet. So we enter the business end up selecting an oversize sofa without chaise and were offered to take it off the floor but we instead decided to have it ordered in. He took us back to his desk telling us that he would just put the $1500 deposit towards the new sofa and we would pay the remaining when we came to pick it up. So he didn't have us sign anything stating he would write in all on the remaining order sheet. We tried to resolve with the owner

    On Oct22/21, I went to Countrywide Furniture to buy a chair I wanted in time for a Xmas party I was hosting on Dec 16/21. I found a ******* I liked but preferred a different color. Alvin suggested I choose a color & he could order it in. He said it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Timewise, I thought it would work, so I ordered it instead of buying off the floor. He also charged me a 50% deposit which I paid bc I thought the chair was coming so quickly. However, due to severe flooding a couple weeks later (which shut down the highways), I no longer expected to get the chair before the Dec 16/21 party. Then on Jan 11/22 I phoned to ask when I could expect the chair. They said it wouldn't be until May! This big of a delay didn't really make sense & after thinking about it , I decided I just wanted to cancel the order & get a refund. I went to the store on Feb 2/22 to do this & this is when I discover Alvin verbally told me 4 to 6 weeks, but he wrote 8 months on my sales agreement. I told him I know he told me 4 to 6 weeks bc I wanted the chair by Dec 16! If he told me 8 months, I wouldn't have ordered it.. He started yelling at me ,saying he would never have told me 4 to 6 weeks & said " there must be something wrong with you" as he was tapping the sides of his head with his fingers. He said he was a busy man & walked away leaving me standing there with the receptionist. I said to her "this is unbelievable. I can't believe this is happening." But his reaction was so over the top, that upon returning home * ******* ** ***** *** ****** ******* * *** *** ***** * ********** ******* * **** ******* ** *** **** **** ** ** *** ********** * * *** ********* ** *****  I decided to wait until the chair came in to see if I wanted to go ahead with the purchase. However when the chair arrived, the experience was still so awful that I didn't want to see that chair in my house, for I paid a 25% restocking fee & walked away. I will never step foot in that store again.
