    Anytime fitness Kamloops I tried canceling they refused, they overcharged me, they finally said my membership was canceled and 2 months later I got a bill for 2 months after canceling my membership over 3 times through the gym in person and on the phone Ive honestly given up on the overcharged payments and I just want to keep my credit score intact I dont know what to do anymore Ive called them over 30 times now trying to sort this out, they also threatened me when I left a bad review saying they would stop helping with trying to fix this, I deleted the review and they are still not answering the phone $242.16 to be not collected for after cancelling $189.50 in overcharging

    Good morning,I tried contacting anytime fitness Kamloops several times during business hours over the phone and left two voicemails asking to cancel my account on March 3, 2025. I also went to the Website and under billing tab I emailed the email address provided there to ask them to cancel my account. On April 2, 2025 I received a text message from Anytime saying my payment couldnt be processed. I told them I requested over a month ago to cancel my account. I was then told I sent the email to the wrong email account but they can fix it by clearing my balance and cancelling my account. On Saturday I received a phone call saying I need to pay my remaining balance or I will be sent to collections. I tried explaining that this was already resolved and that I had also called and left voicemails and that the website gives confusing information. The manager of Kamloops Anytime keeps insisting they wont cancel my account until pay the outstanding balance of $40. Due to the confusion Im asking the location to waive my membership fee that was taken after I attempted to cancel, and wave the late fee, and proceed with my cancellation. Ive been a loyal member of anytime fitness for years. Thank you.
