    Called BCAA for a local tow of our collector car from one repair shop to another. Was told it would be Roadway Towing. Asked BCCA to tell roadway driver to call me before he gets there as I want to meet him there when he loads and I would follow him to destination as I want make sure no damage is done. BCAA assured me he told Roadway. After 2 1/2 hrs I called shop and was told tow truck had taken car 1 1/2 hrs ago, WITHOUT CALLING ME!!!) I went to destination shop and owner said while driver was unloading car, he asked the truck driver if he had any info who the car's owner was. The driver said he would give it to him, then got in his truck and drove away, WITHOUT GIVING INFO TO SHOP OWNER!! I went to destination shop and checked over the car and found deep gouges and scrapes on both chrome tailpipes of car done when either loading or unloading car on flatdeck. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid by being at both ends to watch!! The driver must have heard or seen the tailpipes scraping on the pavement but clearly didn't care and didn't let me or his boss know about the damage he caused! I talked to Roadway's manager twice and showed him photo of damage and about the driver's negligence and an explanation. He said he would investigate and call me. HE HAS NEVER CALLED ME BACK!!! 3 s**** *** on one tow by this driver!! He clearly doesn't care and very unprofessional!! If I was his employer, he would be fired!! 3 s**** *** on ONE tow, is 3 TOO MANY!!
