***** *** crew are all friendly and buddy-buddy when you go
to purchase an RV (and they do have the best inventory in the mid-island). That
being said, my recommendation would be to only look at CVRV to see what is out
there and go somewhere else, even the mainland, to purchase. In my experience,
once you purchase the RV, they hope to never see you again, unless you are
paying to upgrade or fix something out of pocket. I had a Maxxair fan installed
6 months after I purchased my RV. This comes with a 2-year warranty that is only
if you are in the area. If you are out on your travels and something happens,
you are out of luck. One and a half years after the fan was installed, it
    broke. ** ***** ** ** ***** ** ** ******** ***** *** **** ******** ** **** * *** **** * ****** ******** **** ***** ** ****** ***** * *** ** * ** ** * **** ***** **** **** *** *** *** ***** ** **** ******** ***** ** ***** ******* *** ***** ************ **** **** ******* **** **** ****** ** ** **** **** **** *** **** ******* *** **** ** *** **** * ******* ************ **** ***** ******* **** ***** ** ******* **** ****** **** ******* ** ******* * *** *** ********* ****** **** ****** ** *** ******** *** *********** **** ****** ************* ***** ** ***** *** **** ***** ****** ** ********* ********* *** *** *********** *** ** *** **** ********* ** ****** I guess it was lucky that the fan broke to
prevent a major leak in my Class B RV. Buyer beware--I recommend going
    elsewhere. Kathy

I brought a 12v furnace circuit board and paid $322.99 for it before tax. The service man said nothing about that if it wasn't the right part I cannot bring it back. That was about 2:00 p.m. I got it back to the tailor and the guy had the furnace running, I took it right back at 2:10 as it was just down the street and the guy was rude and said no refund. I told him and that the package had not been opened, 10 minutes from when I bought it to when I took it home. He said the owner won't take the part back but never even asked him. We were going to buy a new trailer in a few years but I won't deal with them. The parts department is a joke, they are just out for your money and don't care about you. Now I have got a new circuit board that I can't use. Very poor service.

Well I just got back from Comox Valley RV dealing with Jim and the so-called owner (wouldn't give me his name). Yes, on my bill is says no refunds. I never even looked at it, just paid my $361.75 and put in my pocket. I went back to the trailer and the guy said it was the sail switch. I went back within 10 min and Jim said to look at your bill. He is a liar as he never told me when I brought the part. I could buy the same part on Amazon with no problem returning it.

This guy comes out to the parts department and said he was the owner. Old guy with gray hair with an attitude yelling and swearing at me that I put my dealings with them online. I sure Did. Jim said he would give me 10% off any parts. Why would I want to buy anything from them again? I have never had a so-called owner talk to me like this old guy did **** ** * ***** **** *** *** **** **** ** ******* *** * **** * *** *** *** ****** **** ******* Enjoy the money you scammed from me and I have let everyone know how you treat good-paying customers. * **** *** ***** ****** ******* ** *** **** *** ***** ***** ***** ********* ***** **** ****** ***** ******* **** ** ****** Glenn Evans

Our obligation to our clients is to be upfront with all our actions so clients can make an informed decision. Most industries, including RV and automotive, the sale of electronic parts is non-returnable, non-refundable. The reason is the electronic components can blow if not installed properly and we don't have the capacity to test electronic components after they have been purchased. Not to mention the cost to test them could be more expensive than the part itself. The other issue is clients will purchase an electronic part just for the purpose of testing to see if their electronic part is broken. Mr. Evans was advised when he purchased the unit it was non-returnable, non-refundable, it was stamped in red on his invoice, it is listed in back print as well as posted on our menu board. Mr. Evans was offered a consideration on his next purchase. Mr. Evans does have a flair for exaggeration of the actual events that occurred.

Buyer Beware. I purchased a Class B motorhome from Comox Valley RV (CVRV) in November 2023.
We had numerous issues with it, and I reported them to the owner.
The water heater was not working, the generator would not start automatically at low voltage and the water pump would not stop pumping, among other things.
I reported these items to the owner and his attitude was, there's nothing wrong, and if there is, our 50-50 warranty says "you pay for half and we pay for half".

As it turns out, the water heater was not working because CVRV did not de-winterize the unit properly when I purchased it, and left a valve closed which should have been open (or vice versa).
The generator would not auto-start because the water heater kept tripping the circuit which disabled the auto start.
There was a pressure leak in the water system that kept the pump running non-stop.
    None of these issues ended up being major ones and I went to another dealer to have them addressed, because CVRV had no idea how to assess or fix the problems. Do not fall for their 50 -50 warranty. *** ** ***** ** ***** *** ********** ** *** ******** *** **** ************ ******* **** ****** *** *** ******* ******* **** ***** **** ** ******* *** * ********** ****** ** ****** *** **** *** *** ** *** *** ** ** **** *** **** ** ********* ************ ****** ****

Ron your comments are unfair considering the great efforts made by staff to serve you. Right from the beginning you threatened us with Better Business and getting your lawyer involved. This was before we had a chance to investigate your complaints. We did a 2 hour walk around with you when you picked it up to show you how to operate your motorhome and show you that everything is operational. The tech recalls reviewing items with your partner, and you walking away to investigate other matters and not paying attention to what was being discussed. Thus, not getting the full benefit of the walk around. The first time you brought it back every issue was owner operator error. This was the same issue on the following visits.
