05/23 DSYC took my boat into their Charter. They prepared me to profit they'd market the boat to secure charters. 08/23 I checked on the boat as I had concerns. They had still not posted photos of boat needed to get charters. - they put up photos of another boar. I let them know I wanted my boat back at the end of the October and they agreed. 10/23 I was sent an invoice for $12K - with no receipts, warning of these fees and no opportunity for me to do the repairs.
    No approval for fees.
No disclosure of fees incurring from May to October/23
Not marketing the boat in any acceptable way.
Contract indicates I am liable if I prevent in any way marketing the boat - should they not be held to the same account?

Boat was returned to me in an unkept state, no disclosure that the anchor&windlass was broken
Dangerous lack of disclosure - I was travelling the for boat 2 days.
Boat returned in an unkept state and several thousand dollars repair is required that they did not make me aware of. How can I be sure they didn't charter the boat more than reported? * ********* ** *** ******* *****
I had 2 charters lined up through my contacts but they wanted photos of my boat on DSYC’s website, which they never, every did. So – if I earned $11000. for 2 charters, they owe me $11,000 for the 2 lost charters due to their lazy marketing.

$3000. Mold Removal, no prior approval, no receipt, no record of where the mold was and - is the work guaranteed? They did not use my dehumidifier & marine heater on boat causing more mold. They need to be accountable for this $3000.

Many items I do not choose to have on my boat and will return to them.
I am requesting support from BBB for resolution of the amount owing, adjusting the bill to take into consideration the damages to the boat and why they didn't market the boat as the contract indicated they would. I need an explanation of the charges, proof with receipts the fees they are charging me are legitimate and a billing adjustment.

Desolation Sound Yacht Charters took $7500.00 off my **** without my knowledge on July 14th, 2022. I rented a boat off them in the beginning of July 2022. After the trip they sent a text to my father ***** ****** asking about some damage. He responded that he knew nothing of any damage. There was no further communication. When I received my next **** statement I saw that $7500.00 was taken off my card my Desolation Charters on July 14th, 2022, the same day they texted my father. When I spoke to them they said my father signed a contract agreeing to paying a damage deposit. When I asked them for proof of the damage, receipt of the cost and insurance information they did not respond at all. They have not responded to any of my attempts to resolve this situation even when I quoted from their own contract their responsibilitys as a charter company. They did not invite me to view the damage at all and never once said they were charging me for a contract my father signed. I am attaching my communication and their contract to this complaint.
