    If I could I would chose zero star for this company. I didnt contract them to do any service at my new purchased house, but the previous owner does. Since we purchased the house and the previous owners contract with them has ended, I called them to stop their irrigation facilities running automated irrigation on my property. They are charging me for almost 300$ to stop the automatic irrigation scheme! I told them I dont need any technicians to come to shut off the water switch but please let me know where and how should I stop their service on my property! They said Ok and will email me the details but never reply.

    I have always chosen BBB accredited companies but I am very disappointed in your coverage of Able Irrigation. This company has not been in business for 50 years. The original company was purchased about ten years ago so it is misleading to give them a 50 year endorsement. Not only that but they bought ******** Irrigation recently which I assume is doing the work. it was not a BBB accredited company. Moreover, the company has three different addresses on the internet, and your current address is incorrect; it should be **********************************************************Having now listed those problems I have a couple of comments about my experience with the company. I originally emailed them listing, in detail, the work needed on my irrigation system. I have experience with my system and have done many repairs myself, so I knew exactly what work was needed. The first thing they told me was that it would cost me $175 just to have a look. Other companies give a free estimate. I objected and sent a photo of the valves I wanted replaced - no need to come have a look. They reluctantly agreed to provide an estimate without the visit but took a long time to provide it. Their estimate to replace two valves was $1503, but they didn't provide an estimate for the other two other things I wanted fixed . The two replacement ******** valves would cost $75.96 at ********** and I estimate the time to replace valves would be at most three hours. So I estimate the overall charge should have been about $520 ( labour cost is $175 for first hour, thereafter $135/hr ) but they wanted $1503. Obviously I didn't get them to do the work. They need to give free estimates and not overcharge customers.
