    Date of transaction: Oct 27th, 2022 I called the UPS store to check if they take and provide pictures for **** application for India. The owner mentioned that he does and he has also the specifications. I went to the store and they took my picture. I asked for a digital print and physical print. I asked them repeatdely if this is the right size. Owner mentioned that he has a software for Indian **** specifications and they would never do the wrong thing. I took those pictures next day to downtown to submit my application to consulate and they rejected my picture. I had to go look for another store to get my picture taken, go back in the application line and re-submit my application. I wasted more than 6 hours because of that and spent money on parking and lost a day of work. On Nov 2, 2022 I called the store owner about the wrong **** pictures, he mentioned that he won't be refunding the money for the wrong pictures. He was rude and told me that this is what he tells his customers.

    we do photos here & have franchisee from Pro-passport photo, we have a software with which we calculate the background, color ration, size of the head wiz a wiz Size of the photo but size of the actual photo & their requirements is always shared by customer. according to the size shared by customer photos are clicked & then approved by customer to print. we did the same for this customer also. Moreover, we always tell customer that in case of any discrepancy with photo we will click the photo again without any cost, same is mentioned on our website as well. most importantly she is putting everything on owner whereas her photos were taken by an employee of the store & not the owner. when she called me next day of her appointment, she was yelling on me but after listening to her experience i felt bad for her experience & told her about the policy we have, but since she has already taken photos somewhere else so we offered her that we can offer her some sort of discounts or can any of her or family photos for free but she denied. she posted bad reviews for our business on google as well other platforms. since we are franchisee, so we have to go as per the policy driven by company all across which is mentioned online Pro Passport Photo #1103 ** **** ******* *** ******** ******* ********* *** ******** * **** * ** ****** ******* * *** ******** ***** ****

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1. Store owner mentioned repeatedly that they have a software for Indian **** passport and they cut the size accordingly as per recommened by the software. He also developed digital picture based on that software.
    2. Store owner was present and working with the employee in processing the digital and physical copies.
    3. Store owner acknolwedged on the phone that the photo specification used by him could be incorrect
    4. Store owner was never empathetic that I lost my entire working day becuase of his mistake
    5. Store owner mockingly told that I can go back and get my picture re-taken even after I repeatedly told him that I had already submited my **** application and I neither had an option nor time to not submit my **** application. **** applications can only be submitted during appointments which are booked weeks in advance.
    6. Store owner never once asked for photo measurements from me as he reassured that his software is for Indian **** pictures.

    We practice same strategy for all customer & we are doing 200 photos for different customer every month.

    customer gets checklist of what docs & what size of pictures are to be submitted accordingly they come to our store to take photos & in case of rejection we re-take photos free of cost.

    So, we are restating that as per our policy which is mentioned on our website & is always repeated that we can re-take photos free of cost but there would be no refund.

    - I was never asked to provide the checklist and was told that I should rely on the software they have.

    - Customers visited during my visit for pictures never provided/provides any checklist.

    - I am happy to take down my google review and this complaint if refunded for my cost for incorrect pictures + time spent in back and forth.

    - I have been misguided by the store owner. 

    - Given false information and lied to

    - The store owner is practicing bad business practices

    - The store owner is not refunding the money for the goods not used.
