  These guys aren't ethical, communication is awful, and despite assurances that the deposit on a home is fully refundable if the house for any reason doesn't work for the location involved, they will hold your money forever while you chase them around waiting to get it back. Notice their Better Business Bureau rating. They have definitely earned it. Notice the complaints of others who have had their money basically ****** by these people. I really wanted to settle this amicably and have been patient for months waiting for these people to do the right thing. Clearly, once they have your money, its their money and good luck getting it back. I would be very careful and make sure you fully understand everything that can happen during the process or you risk being seriously hurt financially. And I would insist that it is written in the contract that if a deposit refund is forthcoming, they pay interest on however long it takes them to get the money back to you. I hate submitting this, but for the sake of others in the future, I finally felt I had to.

  Wade's House Moving was fantastic to work with. We sold a house in ******* to ******; the sale process was easy and straightforward, the head office and realty staff were professional and responsive, and the demolition and moving crew were polite, tidy and efficient. Our neighbours even commented on the fine job that ****** did. I would recommend ****** to anyone looking to move a house.

  Spent our money - no house ! Communication with this company was lacking at the beginning. Left 10k deposit to look at a house, when we said we weren't interested we assumed money would be refunded back to credit card. Informed we had to write the accounting department requesting it back !?!? Should have been our first red flag. Being a big reputable family business we thought they could be trusted. Went ahead with another house, left our deposit, made plans .....when it came time to move, communication lacked again. Which resulted in the house being demolished by the owner , therefore no longer available. Started questioning how we go about the refund....evaded my calls. Got excuses like, not in the office, out in the yard, on lunch....almost 4 months later and still have yet to receive all our money back. Getting excuses that they are waiting for funds to come into their account, being short staffed, staff illness....no way to run a business. Was informed their business plan was not to keep the buyers money set aside for the purchase of the house the contract was signed on. They spent our money !! And now don't have any to repay us.

  I would like to give this company 0 stars if I could, their communication and management is awful, they will ignore you for weeks and are never able to give set dates for moving etc. The landowners of the house we bought from ****** were able to back out 5 months into the process and after a contract was signed and a deposit on the house was made, this was never disclosed to us that the landowners still had a say in what happens with the house throughout the whole process. ****** mentioned that if we wanted we could wait till spring in the new year (roughly a year later from when we initially signed the contract) to MAYBE see if the landowners want to move forward. We requested our deposit back and had to get lawyers involved due to the lack of professionalism and communication. Once we received the cheque from ****** we went to cash it and there were no funds in the account. We had to threaten to put a lien on their business in order to even get a phone call back to discuss the refund. We know of multiple people who have had major issues dealing with this company and all with similar excuses and reasons to why they would not be receiving a house. Very disappointed in the months spent dealing with them.
