Do not hire ***** *********, *** > LTR Construction Projects. Do not hire this company!! Quoted $23K. Paid 31K for added unforeseen costs / extras. Started out so, so great and then just went so bad!! Full kitchen, livingroom, and bath tear out and redo. We bought all high end product- the stuff LTR put in was low end **** - never insulated areas we paid for, hollow cheap doors that not latch, **** baseboards, grout, floor strips popping off (never properly secured), painting needs to be redone and in some areas, but moisture issues are the bigger concern. No showed a hundred times, disappeared months at a time twice. Had a million excuses. Broke stuff and denied it. Abusive and yelled at us when we insisted he do what we paid him for. Kept asking for money- should have never paid him. After one year, we insisted he come back and finish. He kept saying he would. Finally we said he needs to do it now, it’s been over a year or we want a refund. He became completely hostile. ***** *********, ***** of LTR then crossed a line that should never be crossed— he threatened us in writing and sent us an email that said “I can make things really bad for you guys” (we have it in writing). We changed our locks immediately, as he had a key. We are now in the expensive process of fixing non existent vents he said he installed, but did not, unfinished electrical plumbing that still leaked, and bathroom grout falling out in chunks-being fixed and completed by multiple different professionals. ***** is very friendly guy, a spectacular liar and manipulator and has ability to look you in the eye, and outright lie! Scared for the future issues. Some of the people we hired said our attic and vents that went nowhere, the plumbing and electrical could have ruined our home. We are not rich and saved up 8 years for this reno in a home we have lived in for 30 years.
