National transmission had diagnosed and quoted me 1200$ to repair the cellinoids in my transmission for a fee of 1200$ after waiting for over a week they said they had replaced the celenlioids and I had to take my truck to the dodge dealership to clear the codes to take the truck out of limp mode. I took my truck to dodge and they did a diagnose of the truck and said the problem wasn't the celenoids and was the *** was bad and needed replacing they did it for 800$ and fixed the issue. I called National transmission back and talked to the owner and explained the issue and he said they couldn't do a full diagnoses without all the proper equipment and it's very rarely a *** problem they refused to refund any money.

The vehicle came in stuck in fourth gear. Upon scanning the vehicle the codes shown were P0765- underdrive solenoid. This is a common code with this particular vehicle. Due to the code being directly related to the solenoid block the first course of action is to replace the solenoid block. This is the common course of action and usually resolves the issue. After solenoid block was replaced the same code came back, we opted to replace the solenoid block with another solenoid block to ensure a working solenoid block was used incase previous solenoid block came faulty. After replacing solenoid block for a second time, at no charge, code remained and customer was recommended to the Dealership for further electrical check. Before going to the dealership we ensured that the clutch volume index was normal. This means that the issue was no longer in the transmission itself and needed a more extensive electrical check. Due to the dealerships diagnosis of the *** being faulty and the issue being resolved after replacing both the solenoid block and the ***, we determined it was a two part problem, which can happen with vehicles. The customer currently has the working solenoid block in their vehicle and cannot be refunded for it as it is currently contributing to the operation of the customers vehicle. The original faulty solenoid block cannot be reinstalled due to the parts outlet requiring cores be sent back upon purchasing a new part. Electronics are non refundable and non returnable as is normal in many automotive and parts facilities.

The dealership that fixed the issue informed me it was almost certainly was not a selenoid To begin with and if national transmission didn't have the ability to do a full diagnoses they should have informed me instead of telling me the selenoid was the issue. My problem is I would have just gone to dodge tobegin with if national transmission was honest and upfront and said they didn't have the capability to diagnose the transmission fully. Instead they did a half diagnoses and charged me 1200$ to not fix the issue at hand which costed me another 800$ at dodge to fix the actual problem.

I am rejecting this response because:
