      This is a horrible company. I was recently dealing with their sister company Encor by Epcor, and I had a very bad experience. Their customer service people are trained to condescend you, and prevent you from escalating your issue. I dealt with two different people of whom talked down to me, tried to prevent me from speaking to someone else about the issues I was experiencing as a customer. They also do not care about their customers. They do not care if you stay or go, so why would they have to have good customer service? GO ANYWHERE ELSE but with Epcor, especially DO NOT SIGN UP with Encor by Epcor, they are worse. They do not care about their customers and when you call them to inquire about billing issues, they treat you poorly, and try to not help you. I have never dealt with a company who has a customer service department who actually tries to avoid customer service. It speaks a lot about a company about how their customer service department is trained. What a horrible company.

      Ive talked to a lot of other local residents our bill is unreasonably high and has been for years now that Im thinking about it Im not sure we have ever had a meter reading. It was warmer this month and our heat was off yet our bill was the highest its ever been even after calling to complain about the February bill. Our utilities are higher than our rent this is unfair and unaffordable.

      It is unfortunate I have to put 1 star. If it were up to me they would not get any stars for the poor customer service provided. I called ********************** on a Saturday, March 25/23 because my power went off. When I got a representative online, I was told that my power will go off if we use too many appliances and will be restored after 15 minutes,.This has been set because I have an outstanding bill. It's not that I haven't been paying my bill. I have been making payments-My last month payment was $1000 and because I get paid monthly, I was going to make another payment of $1000 on payday which is on the 29th of March. This was explained to them, but they would not restore my full power. I asked to speak a supervisor and the representative tells me there is no supervisor he is the highest level on a Saturday-I said that there is always a supervisor when there are staff working. The other issue is that I asked the representative to tranfer me so that I can do the customer service survey because I was going to give the representative a bad review and when he tranferred me it was not to the survey. i called back to do the survey and they said I can no longer to the survey after the call is disconnected. I asked if I can speak to someone to complain about the representive. I was then transferred to another representative in another area who says that she will escalate the complaint-I asked if I can I get a copy also sent to my email so that I know for sure that this is processed-I was told that they do not send emails. So, how do I even know that this complaint is even processed. It's easy for Epcor to cut people off than restore the power. Times are tough and trying to keep up with Epcor's bill payments has been the hardest because they are the most expensive utility to maintain with their high rates. Yet, they are the least to assist during this economy.
