    Requested a tow truck to winch vehicle out of ditch, and tow it to my driveway (500ft away on the same road). An estimate of the cost was not provided. After the vehicle was winched from the ditch, the dispatcher called to say they were going to tow it to their yard since it "was going to be write-off anyway". When I refused to allow this, the dispatcher said he couldn't charge the insurance company directly if he towed it to my house and that I'd have to pay out of pocket. I asked how much. He said it would be about $1000, so more than the original estimate (which was never provided) which he then claimed to be about $400. I said ok, I'll pay it. I then observed the tow truck turning around, and driving away from my house. I called the dispatcher back to demand they deliver my truck to my driveway as I originally asked. The truck drove to the end of the road, and then returned. They started removing the truck from the tow vehicle, but just before they finished, they said the bill would be $1500. I called the dispatcher back, and after some back and forth, was able to get the cost down to $1365 which needed to be paid by e-transfer. I asked how the receipt would be delivered, and they said they would email it to the address used to do the money transfer. The driver then handed me a hand-written receipt, which I realized later had the wrong date on it. When I called the dispatcher, they stopped answering the phone, and wouldn't reply to my text messages, and never sent a proper receipt to my email address.This company attempted twice to take my vehicle against my written instructions, overcharged for their services when they thought the insurance company would pay for it, and then falsified the receipt preventing me from being reimbursed from my insurance company, and now refuses to correct even this most basic issue.
