    I purchased a brand new 5th wheel RV from Arrkann RV in Edmonton on September 12, 2017, taking possession on September 23, 2017. This unit came with many manufacturer warranties including a 5 year warranty on the front cap. This warranty should be in effect until September 23, 2022. In March 2022 I noticed that the paint was quite rapidly peeling off of the front cap. I then contacted a Arrkann RV rep who stated if the unit had this 5 year warranty the repair would be covered. I then supplied detailed photos of the problem to Arrkann. They then sent a estimate for the repair to the Sanibel warranty rep who then denied the claim stating the warranty had started from the date the unit was manufactured June 16, 2016. That is absolutely ridiculous, any new product warranty does not start until the item is sold to the consumer. I have tried to get Arrkann RV to get this warranty honored being told by them they could no longer help. It was up to me to dispute this with Forest River. I have attempted this with Forest River with no success. I will attach all related documents to hopefully get a resolution to get the warranty honored and get the required repair.     I went to ArrKann RV to find a solar solution to support my CPAP medical device, after some conversations and upgrades to a package they were promoting they provided me with a solution. I pick the unit up and we headed out camping, when we got to our off grid camping location and started to set up, we discovered screws and debris from the solar installation, then we tried to operate our slides which no longer worked and we then found that the outlet that was to support my CPAP Medical Device was not working. After cutting our trip short I went in to ArrKann to figure out why it wasn't working and was told I needed to buy additional equipment to make the solution work and was quoted $1.100, I then spoke with the ********* ****** who quoted $1,800, then told me I would get "employee pricing" to fix their mistake. The lack of customer service and professionalism was disgracefully so I escalated this to the manage. Who intentionaly delayed the resolution to this for a month, holding me hostage to pay for their mistake. Do not do business with this company as their employees are not accountable or ethical.

    After thoroughly reviewing all of the e-mails exchanged between our employees and Mr. **********, it appears there was a breakdown in communication regarding exactly what he needed. He did initially state that he needed an inverter, but then also stated he already had one and needed to confirm that it would work for his intended purpose. On March 29th we provided a written quote by e-mail clearly stating that it was for a 360 watt solar panel and two 6 volt batteries, this quote did not include an inverter. He chose to proceed with the work. When he came back and explained that he did actually need an inverter, and that there was a misunderstanding, we deeply discounted parts and labour in an effort to make up for the perceived error. He chose to proceed with the additional work, and he has since picked up his trailer.
