We had a brand new furnace installed by Amyotte in October of 2017. The installer put a big dent in our dryer in the process and did a shoddy job of running the exhaust pipe. When we attempted to use the furnace for the first time in November of 2017 it would not work as a component was missing rendering the unit useless. After a couple phonecalls a tech came and discovered the missing part and informed us that we would have to wait (without heat) as they did not have the part in stock. We were charged for a permit even though none were pulled. We found this out when we had another company come in to fix our brand new furnace in 2018 when Amyotte wouldn't come out to service the equipment they had installed. In January of 2020 we had to have a tech come out again as the fan would run but the unit would not produce heat. They managed to get it running, but there was still no definitive answer to what the problem actually was. Now on November 2nd 2022 the unit failed again, we had Action furnace come out, diagnose and temporarily fix the problem again. I called Amyotte first, but they did not reply. I called Amyotte again after Action had left, asking if they would be willing to come take a look. They said that I would have to pay full price for the tech to show up and would be charged full price for all subsequent repairs.
