    we had bought a 2013 dodge ram 1500 from mac james motors. The first week owning it we had to replace the fuel pump in the truck. Then a couple months down the road, i went to start the truck and it was dead completly and to get it towed to a shop and got it fixed.
    Couple months go buy and now the truck has a bunch of codes and randomly looses steering and power completly and that truck turns on and off by it self. we contacted mac james motors about the issues which all they could say it "well get it fixed". we have already had to pay an arm and a leg for the parts that broke. we had to replace the whole front end,the rear dif,parts in transmisson. I have young children and the truck is not safe to drive with them let alone anyone. something needs to be done like exchange for a new truck or something.They also said the truck had no issues but had codes right as soon as e got home

    The vehicle is question was purchased September 01/2021 by the customer. The vehicle was fully inspected by a licensed mechanic from an outside shop. The vehicle was test driven by the customer and he agreed to purchase said vehicle from Mac James Motors. The vehicle had 121,538 kms when sold. In October of 2021 the vehicle needed the fuel pump replaced which Mac James Motors paid the full amount of the bill, no cost to the customer. In October of 2022 the customer called to say the vehicle was making a clunking noise and he was concerned the transmission was shot, the vehicle was taken to a repair shop in Red Deer and was diagnosed as needing CV axle and shaft and seals, the vehicle had 158,895 kms in October 2022. We explained these parts wear out over time and are part of the regular maintenance require on this vehicle. We were able to get $500 of the $1,950.08 bill paid for on warranty, he was unable to pay the balance so we lent him the rest. In February of 2023 customer posted a complaint about the vehicle online, we called and spoke to customer about the complaint and encouraged the customer to take to a repair shop to diagnosed to see exactly what the problem is, we said based on his description it could just need a new battery. As of this date he has not indicated to us if he has had the vehicle diagnosed.

    To conclude our response we do not see any basis for a customer complaint. Used Motor vehicles require regular maintenance, repairs are to expected when a vehicle is drive 37,000 kms in on year.
