Tradesmen and sub-trades BEWARE of this company, we had a very bad experience working with them on a project here in ********.They hired us for a carpentry project and didnt pay us as agreed, instead came up with excuses and blame to avoid payment. We were hired to do a small project that should of taken 2 days but the company owner was unorganized which caused us to make ****************************************** turn wasting an extraordinary amount of our time and resources. Additional to that when we arrived each time the site was not prepped for the work we were contracted to do, and we were expected to do the site prep work / groundworks which was outside the scope of our work at no additional cost.On the tenth trip to this project, we arrived to find our contracted work had been done by someone else, in turn wasting another full day of ours. Without any contact from this company they went ahead, breached our contract and hired someone else to do our agreed work.If all this drama wasnt bad enough, when we approached the company owner for payment of work done he refused to pay the contracted amount and had the audacity to place blame on us for the project not going as planned.As a contractor myself, I have worked with many people in the industry and have an excellent reputation in this city for completing work to a high standard, I would not recommend working with this company in any capacity because they are not good to their word, seem to be unorganized and expect sub trades to go beyond the scope of work without payment.We spent 35 man hours wasting time with this company for zero payment.

We hired ***** since we heard good things from people we know in the industry. The task that he was hired for was to construct a wood window well using 4x6 lumber; the day ***** showed up to the job site we went through the entire job scope to ensure clarity on method of construction and the level of quality that we and our clients expect. ***** assured me that he and his labourer knew what they were doing, have done this before and that I am in good hands... upon my return to site the window well was constructed however there were many deficiencies and appreared that attention to detail was not a priority only lets get th job done so we can get out of here mentality was their approach. ***** and I met onsite in order to me to express my concerns regarding the unlevelness of the entire window well which needed to be fixed in order to proceed with the final two window *****. ***** acknoledged the deficiencies and proceeded to explain his labourer who he left onsite was not experienced and failed to execute in many levels. We left the meeting with ***** agreeing to fix the issues and will make it right. ****** later no fix only excuses after which myself and my labourer had to fix the window well which took hours in order to level the timbers complete the well. I have photos to coroborate this unpleasant experience with this gentleman since I had a feeling this was going to happen. My clients and I expect a high quality product that will last the test of time and can not accept anything less. This is a case of a disgruntled trade who wanted to get paid for a product that was less then satisfactory after given many changes to rectify the situation but didn't and of course its our fault....
