Modified due to character limit. We hired Bottega Homes to complete our basement renovation. Its been just over a year since we signed the contract, prior to signing we had verbal agreement in relation to the payment schedule (final payment would be provide upon full completion of the basement). Our basement renovation was supposed to be finished by 08/04/21. It is currently 05/06/22 & still not finished. The quality of workmanship is beyond poor & we are now in a position where we have to pay thousands to correct the deficiencies, shoddy workmanship & outstanding contract work.Here is a partial list of problems -Broke numerous joints while installing LVP, floor **************** all over because the planks dont connect properly -Shower door leaks due to incorrect installation of shower base resulting in an inability to install shower door correctly -Directional tiles are installed in every way direction -Tiles are not even/flush with each other. They stick out in all different directions. Need to take all tile work down & replace, will also need to replace shower drywall.-My husband had to re-install the shower faucet because the owner of Bottega Homes didnt know how, its a standard Delta fixture -Vanity isnt secured or level -Mirror installed to his height, 61 husband cannot see all of his face, contractor didnt listen to requested installation & damaged wall to try to fix -Door trim throughout the basement does not go to the floor because he didnt level the basement floor in the first place. Inch heigh difference in side by side doors -Gaps around the windows -Cut in done by him looks like a kid who cant stay in the lines; missed large sections of the ceiling -He then hired a company to paint and refused to pay her the $1064 he owed her and encouraged her to put a lien on our house. -Didnt complete all electrical work in the contract There is a lot more including lies & attempted liens on our house that were deemed to be deficient.
