    I paid ******* to Teleport Ride on October 17 2023 and have not received the E-Bike I purchased. I wrote a BBB review of this company 10/13/2024 and every single thing they stated in their response after the date of my order, were total lies. Neither my credit card company or myself cancelled the order as they said, I am not high risk as they said They also stated that they "have not received payment" from me. That is a total lie as well. They have my *******, from ****** They do not respond to emails from me, my wife or if I try to contact them through their website, contact option. They have no phone number supposedly and won't call me on mine, that was given to them many times.

    I'm not sure why I'm required to respond to my complaint or necessarily why my review had to be deleted, but it is.  Teleport Ride stole my money.

    Ordered the bike from Teleport Ride December 2023 for $2,396. Received the bike in Septmber 2024... Received the bike, put it together and charged the battery. It never turned on. Teleport sent the manual, which only stated the obvious of what I had already done (charge the battery, hold the * button for a couple seconds to start). They then sent a 58 sec video on how to check the wires where the battery comes out of the frame. Hardly helpful, but everything was connected. Still,the bike and it's display/ control panel never turned on. I was sold a lemon bike. I shouldn't have to fix a brand new bike from any company out of the box. That's why a person buys new!! If the company really inspects and stands behind their product, this should not be an issue! When I expressed this to the company, and asked how to return the bike for a refund, minus shipping, the company ghosted me and stopped any further communication. I paid for a warranty, which they are not honoring. And by ghosting the customer, ********************** leaves no alternative to fix or replace the faulty, fraudulent product. This bike is not sold as advertised or claimed. It is therefore a fraudulant transaction. I even had a professional ebike inspect and try to get it working to no avail. I expressed all this to Discover, and they still sided with Teleport in the fraudulant selling. They even put a false resolution claim on Trustpilot to try to cover their tracks, and never honored that either. I gave them a chance to respond to that, and they never did. They are very dishonest and scamming customers.

    We ordered an Electric Bike in October of 2023 from Teleport Ride. As of October 2024 we have not received it nor will Teleport Ride respond to emails or calls about the bike. Many people received their bike but it is not what was advertised and almost all components were switched out with very cheap parts. We paid over $2700 USD a year ago and now still have nothing. I did get a notice that I was receiving a bike but only a small wrench was delivered. This company is a scam and I dont want anyone else to lose money ordering from them. I am now over $2700 USD down with NO BIKE.

    I purchased a Teleport Ride e-bike in December 2023. The pre-orders were taken while the bikes were being manufactured for shipment in the spring. I received my e-bike in July 2024.Upon taking the bike for a test ride, I discovered two problems: (1) the torque sensor didn't work properly - the bike will sometimes accelerate rapidly with only mild pressure on the pedals, which can be dangerous. I've tried several other e-bikes with both hub motors and also mid-drives, and the torque sensors do not have this problem. This feels more like an inexpensive cadence sensor.(2) the motor doesn't generate enough force to go up the steep hills where I live. Because the bike has a belt drive without any gears, you need a more powerful assist (or gears).I sent Teleport a message asking to return the bike. When I purchased the bike, the company return policy stated "Once you have received your bike, you have a 10 day return policy." **************************************************************************************** This was an essential inducement to purchasing the bike, and I complied with this policy.However, the company said they no longer accept returns, and sent me a link to a NEW return policy that had been changed AFTER they sold the bike. They offered some special exceptions - first they made up a $400 restocking fee, then demanded that the bike was in an unopened box (which would mean it would have been impossible to try the bike). When I complained and politely asked to escalate the issue, the company went silent.Teleport customer service has been inadequate (often taking several days to reply to an email) and has since gone silent and does not respond to any messages at all.

    With regards to your complaint that our sensor for pedal assist is too responsive, you are able to lower the level of pedal assist and its sensitivity to your liking. This is easily done on the display: 

    Our bike offers 3 different riding modes, giving you as the rider plenty of flexibility. The riding mode you are referring to is pedal assist. Pedal assist is very adjustable, and we offer 5 different levels of pedal assist. 

    You are able to select the level of pedal assist on the integrated display. 

    You find instructions for how to change the level of pedal assist in our 12 ***************** manual, on page 6. Please select level 1, as this is our lowest level. 

    With regards to the refund policy, your order and request fall outside our refund policy. Please refer to our terms on our official website under the Delivery Schedule and Refunds section:

    I am rejecting this response because:  *the business is fraudulently refusing to honor their return policy*

    Let's keep this simple:  I notified the business within less than 10 days that I wanted to return the bike.  The return policy AT THE TIME I PURCHASED THE BIKE stated clearly that they would accept returns within 10 days of receipt of the bike. This policy was an essential inducement to my purchase of the bike unseen and untested, prior to manufacture.  Teleport is now trying to CHANGE their return policy AFTER THE **** and keeps on sending a link to their new policy, not the policy in place at the time of purchase (which I quoted and linked in my original complaint).

    Further, despite claiming to be happy to help, the company will not respond to email or messages and refuses to provide a phone contact.
