              On May 7, 2021, I called Door Surgeon because our garage door was broken and asked to have someone come out to assess the problem. At the time of the call, I was not notified that there would be a service fee for sending someone out to provide an estimate. 2 men from the company did arrive that afternoon and did look at the garage door and proceeded to explain what they said would be needed to fix it. They did say there were several problems that needed repair and showed me an estimate on a tablet that exceeded $1000.00. They opened the garage door but did not have the parts needed so would come back next week. They emailed the quote to me and told me then if I cancelled, they would charge me a service fee for coming out to do the estimate and opening the door. When I received the emailed quote, I asked for a second opinion from another company who said there were many unnecessary repairs on it. I emailed Door Surgeon to cancel the service and the door is still broken.

              Door surgeon recently came to my house to look at front door hardware.The technician commented immediately about how expensive the hardware was (its average) then took it apart and showed my the pin that broke on the lever .He kept sending photos to someone and asking what to do. Then he said they could get a part and fix it but it would be 2weeks. He then went to his truck for 20 minutes and then came back with a quote for $1,100 to fix it.I asked why I wouldnt just replace it and he said it would cost 5times as much .I am in the interior business and order hardware for clients all the time. He left after charging me to show up and I then called and ordered a new lock set for $650.00.Today Door surgeon called me to ask if they could go ahead with the quote and when I told them the story and that they were ripping people who didnt know better offshe just said ok.,and hung up. DONT use these guys.I dont think they know what they are doing and they are robbing people who dont know any better.
