    We booked Elemental Expressions to cater my 70th birthday party on **************, held in **********, *******. They were to provide the glasses, plates, cutlery, table cloths, ice, non alcoholic beverages, a light dinner, a custom birthday cake and desserts. The evening started badly when they arrived just before 5:00 but were scheduled to arrive at 3:30. Guests were arriving at 4:30 so we had to purchase ice, glasses and table clothes so we could open the bar and have our guests arrive to a decorated venue. The food was very late and there was not enough to feed everyone The gluten free option did not come out until after all of the other food was brought out. The vegan option was not labelled. I know of several people who only had one small croissant for their dinner (they were to each get 3) and several people didn't get to eat at all. I have attached the invoice of expected food. We added on 5 people before the event and paid for those seperately (see attachment). There waws not enough food at all. She even spelled my name wrong on the cake! The staff was not pleasant to deal with and there were many other small details of deficiencies.****** ******** (my daughter) contacted ****** via email to outline the deficiencies and requested a partial refund for the ice, rental table clothes and for the ************. ****** did not respond and it has now been 2 weeks. I managed to get hold of her via phone and she said she would reply. She has not responded at all and won't take our calls nor respond to emails.. It appears that this woman has had several previous companies. She just keeps closing and reopening under different names. Can she be stopped so this doesn't happen to others?We are requesting a refund for $89.50 for the table clothes we couldn't use, $18 for the ice and cups we had to purchase, $330 (10@$31/guest) . Total $437.50. We feel this is a reasonable request.
