As of April 16, 2024, **** Christenson owes over $60 MILLION to 188 individuals who loaned him their life savings to live in one of the nine Life lease seniors living buildings he operates in *******. Many of these seniors have been waiting for almost THREE years to be repaid with no schedule of any kind as to when **** Christenson will repay them. There are hundreds more ******* seniors currently living in a **** Christenson building who are also owed a total of over ONE HUNDRED FORTY MILLION DOLLARS. **** Christenson has promised these seniors for months now a date when they will be repaid and we have heard nothing. That is a total of TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS owed by **** Christenson to hundreds and hundreds of ******* seniors.

My mother was in a ************ ( ***************** ) development for seniors and due to health reasons had to move into their extended care facility. ************ took her nearly $400, 000. over 6 years ago as per a life lease and even though she has vacated the property 18 months ago, they are not paying back her money. They are keeping it to fund other developments including I understand a development in the golf resort at ************** in **** The contract states they will pay out all the monies within a month of termination - as was explained in person to my mother. What they neglected to mention was the clause about how they need to secure other life leases to pay out the existing ones. How about the fact the president of the company stated that the life leases are no longer a good working model and are therefore not selling any more. So where is her money I ask? Have they taken it with no intention of paying back. Really ? What do they expect those seniors (and there are many in this situation ) to live on. My mother would like and needs her money to live out her remain days in comfort. A clear case of taking from our seniors to line their own pockets with profits. Not surprisingly there has been no response to my emails and questions to the company in this regard. This is a crime what they are doing to so many seniors who have their life savings in the control of a private company such as ************ who won't do the right thing. ****
